Im Gegensatz zum Frühling extrem griffig zu gehen. Bei der T12/S12/C14 (RD) fehlt der Stand. Man kann aber links an einem dicken Baum abseilen.
In contrast to spring, extremely grippy to ride. The T12/S12/C14 (RD) lacks a foothold. But you can rappel down a thick tree on the left.

Für Lodrino ein gemütlicher Wasserstand. Sind in gemütlichen 40Min. hochgelaufen. Die Anwohner danken, wenn man bei den letzten 2 Abseilern kein Pfeifkonzert veranstaltet (man hat Sichtkontakt).
A comfortable water level for Lodrino. We walked up in a comfortable 40 minutes. The residents thank you if you don't make a whistling noise during the last 2 rappels (you have visual contact).

Wir haben den Lasino integral gemacht. Wir empfehlen definitiv den Zustieg orograohisch rechts. Links haben, einige von uns, den Weg direkt hoch ausprobiert, der extrem steil und ab Einstieg Intermedio sehr schlecht zu finden ist.
We did the Lasino integral. We definitely recommend the orographic access on the right. On the left, some of us tried the direct ascent, which is extremely steep and very difficult to find from the Intermedio entry.

Alles hochgelaufen. Schöne Einzelstellen. Viel Blockkletterei und Blockwandern. Für 1 Mal ganz ok. Abseiler Nr. 6 könnte 2 neue Haken (M8er) vertragen Schrauben sind noch da,. Man kann aber auch an einem Baum abseilen.
Run up everything. Beautiful single pitches. Lots of block climbing and block hiking. Quite ok for 1 time. Rappel no. 6 could do with 2 new anchors (M8s), but you can also rappel down a tree.

Fahrverbot ist nicht mehr da. Man darf die Piste also wieder fahren (mit VW Bus möglich). Es dürften einige Stände ersetzt werden... mehrheitlich Einzelhaken... Beim 18m Abseiler hat es einen Umlenker, den man unbedingt nehmen sollte.
Driving ban is no longer in place. So you can drive on the slope again (possible with a VW bus). Some stands are likely to be replaced... mostly single pitons... At the 18m rappel there is a redirect that you should definitely take.

Bachwandern, bis die hohe Stufe kommt: 10m (auf einen Boden) 10m auf einen kleinen Boden (Haken sind rechts, nicht mehr so toll, haben wir nicht benutzt) 30m (Pfeiffsignale nicht gut hörbar und "pendeln" 45m (Platz für 2 Personen) 60m Danach folgt ein schöner Korridor und ein weiterer Abseiler. Dann viel Abklettern, Bachwandern, ...🤮 Schöne Schlusskaskade 😍.
30min. stream walk until the high step comes: 10m (onto a bottom) 10m onto a small bottom (anchors are on the right, not so great anymore, we didn't use them) 30m (whistle signals not well audible and "swinging") 45m (space for 2 people) 60m This is followed by a nice corridor and another rappel. Then a lot of downclimbing, stream walking, ...🤮 Beautiful final cascade 😍.

Tolle Schlucht 🤩. Fast nicht rutschig. Kaltes Wasser. Sehr gut ausgerüstet. Dank der blauweissen Markierungen und den "Fähnchen" Zustieg ab dem Kreuz, mit etwas umherschauen, gefunden. Ein paar Fotos mit Sonne ☀️ und ein schönes Wasserstandbild 😉
Great canyon 🤩. Almost not slippery. Cold water. Very well equipped. Thanks to the blue and white markings and the "flags" we found the access from the cross with a bit of looking around. A few photos with sun ☀️ and a nice water level picture 😉

Heute, nach dem 2. Gewitter, hatten wir erstaunlicherweise Wasser. Die Schlucht hat viele schöne Stellen, ist aber ein reiner Abseilcanyon, der sich mit Wasser sehr lohnt. Da leider auf verschiedenen Plattformen keine Einträge gemacht werden, schleppten wir die Bohrmaschine vergebens mit.
Today, after the 2nd thunderstorm, we surprisingly had water. The canyon has many beautiful spots, but is a pure rappel canyon, which is very rewarding with water. Unfortunately, there are no entries on various platforms, so we dragged the drill along in vain.

Uns hat der Taab viel besser gefallen als Tiwi. Die Wasserqualität war auch besser. Wir haben die Tour mit einem Auto gemacht, welches wir beim Ausstieg parkten. 45Min Hinweg. Der Rückweg ist mittlerweilen gut versichert und man ist in 30 Minuten beim Auto. Geübte Canyonisten brauchen etwa 2h für die Schlucht.
We liked the Taab much better than Tiwi. The water quality was also better. We did the tour by car, which we parked at the exit. 45min outward journey. The way back is now well secured and you can be back at the car in 30 minutes. Experienced canyonists need about 2 hours for the canyon.

Sehr schöne Tour! Kann komplett ohne Seil begangen werden, entweder springen oder umlaufen. Wenn die Wasserleitung rechts beginnt, dem Weg oberhalb folgen, bis man zu einem Damm gelangt, dann links der unteren Wasserleitung folgen.
Very nice tour! Can be done completely without ropes, either jump or walk around. When the water pipe starts on the right, follow the path above until you reach a dam, then follow the lower water pipe on the left.

We came out of the desert today and it was ok for that. It's not really canyoning, but a nice swimming tour amidst lots of tourists. Scenic but very beautiful! The boat still costs 1 OMR.

Starts dry and has some pools further down, which are still quite clear. Wonderfully narrow canyon with beautiful tufa formations, a small grotto and a very nice ambience overall.

Für den Zustieg empfehlen wir Grödel oder Steigeisen. In der Schlucht sind diese nicht nötig. Den hohen Wasserfall kann bei diesem Wasserstand direkt abgeseilt werden.
We recommend using crampons or grödel for access. These are not necessary in the canyon. The high waterfall can be rappelled directly at this water level.

Very low water level, dry in between and clear pools up to the bridge. Colorful and varied canyon. We bypassed the first pool after the C50 on the left as the water was not clear. The pool after the bridge was even dirtier. That's where we got out.

Sind auf der orografisch linken Seite hochgelaufen (Gewohnheit), mit schönem Blick aufs Kloster (Sonntag um 12Uhr hört man den Gottesdienst). Schlucht erstaunlicherweise nicht rutschig. Immer wieder schön.
Walked up the orographic left side (habit), with a beautiful view of the monastery (you can hear the church service at 12 noon on Sundays). Surprisingly, the canyon is not slippery. Always beautiful.

Der Anfang ist toll, dann jedoch viel bachwandern bis zum interessanten Teil. Auch am Schluss 25Min. bachwandern und blockklettern. Einige mehr Stände könnte die Schucht ertragen, vor allem bei diesem Wasserstand. Leider ziemlich rutschig.

Sind heute Cima Montagna - Bosco Bello - Valmontina begangen. Sind nicht wie in der Beschreibung bei 1270m abgestiegen sondern weiter bis auf 1400 bis man direkt das Bachbett sieht. Hier muss man das trockene Bachbett absteigen bis man nicht mehr weiter kommt und dann or re für ca weitere 100 Hm absteigen. Der Einstieg des oberen Teils ist bei ca 1200 Hm, dort wo das erste Mal Wasser zu hören ist und unterirdisch eine ergiebige quelle in die zuvor trockene Schlucht einmündet. Aufstieg inkl. Abstieg bis auf die 1200 muss man mit ca 2h rechnen. Der obere Teil ist eine schöne offene Schlucht mit teilweise schönen Engpassagen. Der obere Teil ist fast durchwegs mit Ringen und 8mm Bolts ausgerüstet. Es wäre schade den oberen Teil auszulassen weil man sonnst wenn man bei 1270 abbiegt 300Hm absteigt und eigentlich den großteil des cima montagna verpasst. Bosco Bello war wunderbar weißer Kalk blaue Gumpen einfach super. Bei Sonne ist der Canyon wirklich sehr schön. Sollte man Valmontina nicht machen wollen muss man sobald man die Brücke über den Bosco ello sieht or. li. hoch und darf sich nicht weiter, die letzten 3 Stufen im Boscobello abseilen! Wenn man hier or li rauf geht kann man auch das Wasser des Valmontina checken. Valmontina ist eine aquatisch Großschlucht mit wenig Engstellen oder gefährlichen Passagen. In Summe haben wir für die 3 Teile 5h benötigt. Die Beschreibung von wegen schlechte Stände können wir nicht teilen. Sind halt viele Einzelringe mit 8mm Bolts im oberen Cima Montagna. Die hohen Stellen sind alle mit 2 Ringen mit 10mm Bolt eingerichtet.
Today we climbed Cima Montagna - Bosco Bello - Valmontina. Did not descend at 1270m as described but continued up to 1400m until you can see the streambed directly. Here you have to descend the dry streambed until you can't go any further and then descend ortographic right for another 100m. The entry to the upper part is at around 1200 m, where you can hear water for the first time and where a rich underground spring flows into the previously dry canyon. The ascent, including the descent to 1200, takes about 2 hours. The upper part is a beautiful open canyon with some nice narrow passages. The upper part is almost entirely equipped with rings and 8mm bolts. It would be a pity to skip the upper part because otherwise you descend 300m when you turn off at 1270 and actually miss most of the cima montagna. Bosco Bello was wonderful white limestone blue pools just super. The canyon is really beautiful in the sun. If you don't want to do Valmontina, as soon as you see the bridge over the Bosco ello you have to go up ortographic left and must not rappel any further, the last 3 steps in the Boscobello! If you go up here ortographic left you can also check the water of the Valmontina. Valmontina is an aquatic great canyon with few narrow sections or dangerous passages. In total, we needed 5 hours for the 3 parts. We can't agree with the description of bad stands. There are many single rings with 8mm bolts in the upper Cima Montagna. The high spots are all equipped with 2 rings with 10mm bolts.

Valmontina ist eine schöne Großschlucht mit praktisch keinen gefährlichen Engstellen. Einige Sprünge und kleinere Abseiler bis max ca 20m. Wir haben vom Bosco Bello weg ca 1h 45min benötigt. Alle Abseilstellen sind mit Ringen ausgestattet und 10mm Bolts. Die höheren Stellen mit 2 Ringen.
Valmontina is a beautiful great canyon with practically no dangerous narrow sections. There are a few jumps and smaller rappels up to a maximum of approx. 20m. It took us about 1h 45min from Bosco Bello. All abseiling points are equipped with rings and 10mm bolts. The higher points with 2 rings.

Da wir den Abzweig zum Einstieg bei 880müM verpasst haben und anderen Steinmännern gefolgt sind, sind wir via das trockene Bachbett bei 1000müM eingestiegen. Zum Glück war dieser Teil grad frisch eingebohrt.... So hat man 45Min. 6-7Abseiler mehr schöne Schlucht. 2h30 Hinweg 4h Schlucht bis ganz runter.
As we missed the turnoff to the entry at 880m and followed other cairns, we entered via the dry streambed at 1000m. Fortunately, this part had just been freshly drilled.... So you have 45min. 6-7abseilers more beautiful canyon. 2h30 outward 4h canyon to the very bottom.

Wasserstandkontrolle für den oberen Teil (ersten 4 Abseiler) sehr wichtig. Man könnte auch via den Vinadia die Tour machen, somit entfallen die 2 "heiklen" Passagen und man kommt unterhalb des 4. Abseilers dazu. Hier könnte man im Notfall auch aussteigen. 2. Abseiler ist zur Zeit springbar (was es einfacher macht). 3. Abseiler, sieht wild aus, man seilt aber auf einen Felsen ab, von wo man zum Ausguss hechten kann, um von da die letzten 3m abzuseilen. Wir starteten unsere Tour um 10Uhr und hatten einen tollen Sonnenstand.
Water level control for the upper part (first 4 rappels) is very important. You could also do the tour via the Vinadia, thus eliminating the 2 "tricky" passages and you get to it below the 4th rappel. You could also get off here in an emergency. 2nd rappel is currently jumpable (which makes it easier). 3rd rappel, it looks wild, but you rappel onto a rock, from where you can rush to the spout to abseil the last 3m. We started our tour at 10am and had great sunshine.

Hinweg brauchten wir länger als 35Min. da gefühlt 1000 Spinnennetze im Weg waren, ich würde 50Min. rechnen. Den hohen Wasserfall würden wir das nächste Mal direkt mit einem 80m Seil durchgehen (Zwischenstand ist unbequem). Bei den Temperaturen reicht nur die Neoprenhose. Schöne Halbtagesvormittagstour in Kombination mit Patoc am Nachmittag.
It took us longer than 35 minutes to get there as it felt like there were 1000 spider webs in the way, I would reckon 50 minutes. Next time we would go straight through the high waterfall with an 80m rope (the intermediate stand is uncomfortable). In these temperatures, only the neoprene pants will do. Nice half-day morning tour in combination with Patoc in the afternoon.

Perfekter Sonnenstand, wenn man um 13Uhr zu dieser Jahreszeit startet und weniger als 3h für die Schlucht braucht. Alle Stände sind super, auch der Zwischenstand beim 70er nach 18m ist immer noch super im Stande. Jedes Mal eine wunderschöne Tour, vor allem bei dem Wasserstand. Für das, dass der Zustieg ein Wanderweg sein soll, ist er in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Den Bildern nach, hat der Pliz gleich viel Wasser, wie Ende April. Die Schlucht hat uns sehr gefallen.
Considering that the access is supposed to be a hiking trail, it is in very poor condition. According to the pictures, the Pliz has as much water as it did at the exit in April. We really enjoyed the canyon.

Oberer Parkplatz ist da, wo die Zick-Zack-Piste losgeht (der Anfang wäre noch bis zur 1. Haarnadel fahrbar, danach aber nicht mehr). Bei der letzten Haarnadel vor dem Bach unbedingt links die Piste hinunterlaufen. Danach kann man mal links, mal rechts einem kleinen Pfad, der schon etwas zugewachsen und dornig ist (Neopren unten rum schon anziehen) folgen, bis man lieber bachwandert als weiter durchs Gestrüpp gehen (45Min. ab Strasse). Man muss etwas Geduld haben, denn die Schlucht wird erst schön, da, wo sie tief eingeschnitten ist, dann aber bis zum Schluss sehr schön.
The upper parking lot is where the zig-zag slope starts (the beginning would still be rideable up to the 1st hairpin, but not after that). At the last hairpin before the stream, be sure to turn left down the slope. Then you can follow a small path, sometimes left, sometimes right, which is already somewhat overgrown and thorny (wear neoprene at the bottom), until you prefer to walk along the stream rather than continue through the undergrowth (45 minutes from the road). You have to be patient, because the canyon only becomes beautiful where it is cut deep, but then it is very beautiful until the end.

Wir haben die Schlucht von ganz oben begangen, was sich lohnt wenn man den Skurda zu 1. Mal macht. Auch die Wanderung hoch ist sehr schön, im Sommer sehr heiss, darum früh loslaufen und viel Wasser mitnehmen. Der Anfang war trocken, fürs Abklettern benötigten wir etwa 30 Min. man hat aber einen schönen Ausblick. Danach floss immer wenig Wasser bis unten. Die Schlucht wird immer schöner uns hat sie sehr gut gefallen. Den Wasserstand kann man gut am Ende der Schlucht, wenn man zum letzten Pool /Abseiler läuft (10Min.) nachschauen.
We hiked the canyon from the very top, which is worthwhile if you are doing the Skurda for the first time. The hike up is also very beautiful, very hot in summer, so start early and take plenty of water with you. The beginning was dry, we needed about 30 minutes for the downclimb, but you have a beautiful view. After that, there was always little water flowing down to the bottom. The canyon becomes more and more beautiful and we liked it very much. You can check the water level at the exit of the canyon when you walk to the last pool/rappel (10 min.).

Kleine, hübsche Schlucht, bevor man Stari Bar anschaut. Unbedingt beim Ausstieg parken, da beim Einstieg Parkverbot ist.

Nach einem heftigen Gewitter gestern hatte die Schlucht heute einen schönen, gemütlichen Wasserstand. Wir waren mit Geocache suchen in gemütlichen 1h50 durch die Schlucht.
After a heavy thunderstorm yesterday, the canyon had a nice, comfortable water level today. We were geocache hunting through the canyon in a leisurely 1h50.

Der Anfang ist ganz schön. Auch die Wanderung hoch. Dann wird es eine trockene Abseilrinne, die uns nicht gefallen hat. Am Schluss wird es nett und man seilt im Wasser zu allen Touristen ab. Nicht unbedingt lohnenswert.
The start is quite nice. Even the hike up. Then it becomes a dry abseiling gully, which we didn't like. At the end it gets nice and you rappel down in the water to all the tourists. Not necessarily worthwhile.

Vielen Dank an Lindor Carciu für den Taxiservice. Oben angekommen durften wir sogar die Toilette der Hec benutzen. Wir wurden bis in den Bach begleitet, wo kein Wasser floss. Ein wenig später kam von rechts vom Überlauf ein wenig Wasser dazu. Tolle Tour, alle Stände waren vorhanden.
Many thanks to Lindor Carciu for the cab service. Once at the top, we were even allowed to use the Hec toilet. We were escorted to the stream, where no water was flowing. A little later, a little water came in from the right of the overflow. Great tour, all the stalls were there.

Der Weg per Wikiloc erwies sich als lang, kratzig und mit vielen Spinnen versehen. Besser man folgt der Beschreibung von PvD aus seinem Buch. Mit einem 4x4 kann man auch hochfahren. Die Tour ist nett, aber überbewertet. Wir sind vor der Metallbrücke ausgestiegen, weil die Pools stehend waren.
The path via Wikiloc turned out to be long, scratchy and full of spiders. It is better to follow PvD's description from his book. You can also drive up with a 4x4. The tour is nice, but overrated. We got off before the metal bridge because the pools were standing.

Die Strasse, später Piste, ist mit einem Scooter fahrbar...mit einem normalen PW gegen den Schluss weniger gut. Hübscher kleiner Canyon, leider waren wir in gemütlichen 1h30 beim Ausstieg. Da sehr wenig Wasser floss, und es sehr heiss war, haben wir den Limar nicht auch noch gemacht.
The road, later a piste, is passable with a scooter...less so with a normal car towards the end. Nice little canyon, unfortunately we were at the exit in a comfortable 1h30. As there was very little water flowing and it was very hot, we didn't do the Limar as well.

Tolle Schlucht, leider lässt die Wasserqualität zu wünschen übrig. Wir sind um 7.30Uhr eingestiegen und hatten einen tollen Sonnenstand in der Schlucht und im Korridor. Auto stellen: etwa 40Minuten für 23km.

Wir haben die Touristenvariante gemacht. Geführt heisst die Tour Nefelis. Ganz kurze Tour Nefelis A, etwas längere Tour Nefelis B. Unsere Tour ging von Papigo zum Einstieg 10Min., Canyoningtour 8 Abseiler 45Min., Rückweg (rot markiert) 30Min. wieder nach Papigo zurück.
We did the tourist version. The guided tour is called Nefelis. Very short tour Nefelis A, slightly longer tour Nefelis B. Our tour went from Papigo to the entry 10min., canyoning tour 8 rappel 45min., return (marked red) 30min. back to Papigo.

Die Kardelisschlucht heisst bei Google-Maps "Christ Gorge". Die kleine Schlucht befindet sich nicht da, wo sie bei Descente Canyon angegeben ist. Der Parkplatz befindet sich bei der archäeologischen Stätte "Holy Monastery of Christ". Von da läuft man die Piste weiter hinauf, bis zur 2. Haarnadel. Hier findet man einen Pfad (blaue Markierung) zur Schlucht, wo man mal recht, mal links bis auf 320müM. läuft (30Min.). Es sind etwa 8 Abseilstellen mit einigen kurzen Laufpassagen dazwischen (1h20). Nach dem höchsten Abseiler (ca. 33m) auf 150müM. läuft man etwa 50m bis man links (bei der "Terasse")einen nicht markierten Weg erkennen kann, der durch den Farn zum Parkplatz führt (15Min.)
The Kardelis Gorge is called "Christ Gorge" on Google Maps. The small canyon is not located where it is indicated in Descente Canyon. The parking lot is located at the archaeological site "Holy Monastery of Christ". From there, walk up the slope to the 2nd hairpin. Here you will find a path (blue markings) to the canyon, where you walk sometimes right, sometimes left up to 320m above sea level (30min.). There are about 8 abseils with some short walking passages in between (1h20). After the highest rappel (approx. 33m) at 150m above sea level, walk about 50m until you can see an unmarked path on the left (at the "terrace") that leads through the ferns to the parking lot (15min.).

Es gäbe einen oberen Teil ab 900müM., jedoch glauben wir nicht, dass dieser lohnenswert ist. Wir sind bei 580müM. gestartet und mussten bis zum 1. Abseiler immer noch genug (30Min.) bachwandern. Richtig interessant wurde es dann ab der unteren Brücke. Ab da sind es jedoch nur noch etwa 6 technische Stellen. Schöner Ausstieg bei der Kapelle.
There would be an upper part from 900m above sea level, but we don't think this is worthwhile. We started at 580m above sea level and still had to hike enough (30min.) up to the 1st rappel. It got really interesting from the lower bridge onwards. From then on, however, there are only about 6 technical sections. Nice exit at the chapel.

Wir sind nach dem Buch "50 Canyons in central Greece" auf der orogr. Seite links bis auf 880müM. in 1h45 hochgelaufen und waren in 4h15 beim Ausstieg. Die schönsten Stellen sind aber nach dem "Red Waterfall", also im untersten Teil der Schlucht. Hier kann man vom Parkplatz orogr. rechts hochlaufen bis etwa 420müM.
According to the book "50 Canyons in central Greece", we hiked up to 880m above sea level on the orographic page on the left in 1h45 and reached the exit in 4h15. However, the most beautiful parts are after the "Red Waterfall", i.e. in the lowest part of the canyon. Here you can walk up from the parking lot orographic right up to about 420m above sea level.

Um diese Jahreszeit ist die Schlucht anfangs trocken, dann gab es einige Gumpen mit akzeptabler Wasserqualität, die man umgehen konnte. Später waren die Gumpen nur noch Brackwasser, so, dass wir ausgestiegen sind.

Trotz zahlreicher Kommentare von einer Begehung abzusehen, war es heute wunderschön. Eine unglaublich kontinuierliche Schlucht mit einigen Sprüngen in fantastischer Landschaft. Der Wasserstand kann für erfahrene Canyonisten auch noch höher sein. Zu zweit in 2.45 h mit zahlreichen Fotostops. Gehört in meine persönliche Top Ten.
Despite numerous comments to refrain from an ascent, it was beautiful today. An incredibly continuous canyon with some jumps in fantastic scenic surroundings. The water level can be even higher for experienced canyonists. Two people did it in 2.45 hours with numerous photo stops. Belongs in my personal top ten.

Sehr viel Sand und Lehm am Grund, was das Begehen mühsam macht, dazu ist auf allen Felsen ein Film aus Sand, was alles rutschig macht-mehr Zeit einplanen! Fahrzeug oben an der Strasse parken! Runterlaufen ist schneller, Piste ist teils ausgewaschen. Durch die vielen Sedimente ist das Wasser grau. Die Schlucht ist ein Erlebnis, zwei dunkle Passagen!
A lot of sand and clay at the bottom, which makes it difficult to walk, plus there is a film of sand on all the rocks, which makes everything slippery - plan more time! Park your vehicle at the top of the road! Walking down is faster, the slope is partly washed out. The water is gray due to the many sediments. The canyon is an experience, two dark passages!

Wir parkten in der Nähe vom "Posto florestal do cascalho". Wir liefen alles nach der Buch-Beschreibung " the best canyoning in Portugal" und waren in 1h50 beim Bach. Hier kann man meist orogr links noch 30Min /900m laufen, bis man den 1. Abseiler erreicht. Für die Schlucht brauchten wir 2h30. Manchmal war es extrem rutschig. Rückweg auf der Levada so Rei und einen kleinen, steilen Weg hoch zum Auto (50Min.) Uns hat die Schlucht gefallen.
We parked near the "Posto florestal do cascalho". We walked everything according to the book description "the best canyoning in Portugal" and were at the stream in 1h50. Here you can usually walk orographic left for another 30min /900m until you reach the 1st rappel. We needed 2h30 for the canyon. Sometimes it was extremely slippery. Way back on the Levada so Rei and a small, steep path up to the car (50min.) We liked the canyon.

2/3 vom Canyon fliesst kein Wasser, leider haben die Pools auch nicht mehr so klares Wasser. Bei der 7m-Rutsch ist der Wasserstand so tief, dass man nicht aus dem Becken kommt. Hier muss man orogr. rechts herumklettern. Seixal sup. ist nicht unsere Lieblingsschlucht auf Madeira... viel zu viel Laufen...
No water flows through 2/3 of the canyon, unfortunately the pools no longer have such clear water. At the 7m slide, the water level is so deep that you can't get out of the pool. Here you have to climb around to the right orographic. Seixal superiore is not our favorite gorge in Madeira... way too much walking...

Chain stands (or 2 single) throughout, one chain left only on one anchor. Incredibly beautiful panorama. Water level currently rather low, top conditions. Good walkers manage the approach also in 2 h, you have to go up to 2130 m, then down again 90 hm. Time in the canyon rather 3-4 h.

Der obere Teil ist unglaublich schön. Abseiler über Platten und tolle Landschaft. Ab der Hälfte werden die Laufpassagen lang und die Attraktivität lässt nach. Bei zunehmender Rutschigkeit nervt das, auch wenn Steinmännchen viele Umleitungen anzeigen.
The upper part is incredibly beautiful. Abseiling over slabs and great scenery. From the half, the running passages are long and the attractiveness decreases. With increasing slipperiness this is annoying, even if cairns indicate many detours.

Zum dritten Mal begangen und die Laufpassagen sind zu lang. Sehr schöne Abseiler dazwischen. Wer flott ist, benötigt dieselbe Zeit für Hin - und Rückweg wie für den Canyon. Doppelt inverse Schlucht: Sehr viele Höhenmeter für nichts 😁
Walked for the third time and the walking passages are too long. Very nice rappels in between. If you are brisk, you need the same time for the way there and back as for the canyon. Double inverse canyon: Very many meters of altitude for nothing 😁

Der Weg ist ziemlich zugewachsen, wer nicht weiss, wo dieser verlaufen sollte, sucht etwas länger. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Canyons im Tessin noch wenig rutschig.
