El barranco de Ordiceto o Urdiceto nace del ibón del mismo nombre a más de 2000m de altura de las nieves acumuladas en su circo glaciar. Esto le confiere un caudal permanente y muy frío que, en caso de entrar en él con caudal elevado, puede darnos algún susto en su zona engorgada por sus movimientos de agua peligrosos. Descenso bien formado que, a pesar del caudal elevado, no nos permite realizar saltos. Un acceso muy cercano y sencillo, así como un retorno casi inmediato para adentrarnos en este corto pero inmejorable descenso.

The Ordiceto or Urdiceto ravine rises from the lake of the same name at an altitude of more than 2000m from the snow accumulated in its glacial cirque. This gives it a permanent and very cold flow that, in case of entering it with high flow, can give us a scare in its fattened area for its dangerous water movements. Well formed descent that, in spite of the high flow, does not allow us to make jumps. A very close and easy access, as well as an almost immediate return to get into this short but unbeatable descent.

Tenemos que ir hasta Parzán, para ello llegamos a Ainsa y cogemos la A138 dirección Francia. Tras pasar Bielsa llegamos a Parzán y poco después de pasar el pk 84 vemos el cartel “lago de Urdiceto”. Cogemos esa pista forestal que cruza el río Barrosa. Aparcamos en la explanada al otro lado del río, actualmente hay una empresa de Guias (Impande Guias)

We have to go to Parzán, for this we arrive at Ainsa and take the A138 towards France. After passing Bielsa we arrive at Parzán and shortly after passing the pk 84 we see the sign "Urdiceto lake". We take this forest track that crosses the river Barrosa. We parked on the esplanade on the other side of the river, there is currently a company of guides (Impande Guias).

Seguimos por la pista forestal ascendiendo, dirección lago de Urdiceto. Dos curvas cerradas nos elevarán sobre el valle y luego otra a la izda nos adentra en el valle de Urdiceto. En la curva cerrada a la izda vemos de frente un prado con colmenas y un sendero. Pasamos de largo las colmenas y al poco nos introducimos en el barranco.

We continue along the forest track ascending towards Urdiceto lake. Two sharp bends will raise us above the valley and then another to the left takes us into the valley of Urdiceto. In the sharp bend to the left we see a meadow with beehives and a path. We pass the beehives and soon we enter the ravine.

Barranco a evaluar muy bien el caudal pues en la zona engorgada tiene mucho movimiento. Muy resbaladizo y frío

Tras el último rápel salimos a la derecha al prado. Lo cruzamos y llegamos al coche.
