Nach dem Unwetter Ende Juni 2025 neu eingebohrt. 2. Abseiler nur mit Seilschlinge, danach überall wo nötig neue Haken (einfach). New bolts drilled in after the storm at the exit in June 2025. 2nd rappel with rope sling only, then new anchors (simple) wherever necessary. Everything looks like freshly concreted... Im Gegensatz zum oberen Teil haben die Verankerungen im unteren Teil das Unwetter Ende Juni 2025 gut überstanden. Beim ersten hohen Abseiler konnten wir das Seil bei dem recht hohen Wasserstand nicht abziehen. Haben den unteren Abschnitt (bei deutlich weniger Wasser) am nächsten Tag wiederholt - da gab es dann keine Probleme beim Abziehen.
In contrast to the upper part, the anchors in the lower part survived the storm at the exit in June 2025. On the first high rappel, we were unable to pull off the rope due to the high water level. We repeated the lower part (with significantly less water) the next day - there were no problems pulling it off.

Sehr schöner Wasserstand aktuell. Leider sind keine der Pools tief.
Very nice water level at the moment. Unfortunately none of the pools are deep.

Sehr schöne Alternative im Frühherbst, wenn der Wasserstand bei anderen Touren in der Gegend zu hoch ist.
Very nice alternative in early fall, when the water level is too high for other tours in the area.

Sehr eng eingeschnitten, beeindruckende Tour. Logistisch aufwendig - man muss am Ausstieg 2 Seile einrichten. Die vorhandenen Fixseile besser nicht verwenden.
Very narrow, impressive tour. Logistically complex - you have to set up 2 ropes at the exit. It is better not to use the existing fixed ropes.

Einstieg auf 2120m nicht machbar (Eis). Ca. 50m tiefer gibt es auf beiden Seiten Haken, von dort 40m Abseilen bis zum Schluchtgrund.
Entry at 2120m not feasible (ice). Approx. 50m in depth there are anchors on both sides, from there 40m rappel to the bottom of the gorge.

Alles gut, im Anschluss an Sandbach sup begangen. Weniger tief eingeschnitten als dieser, dafür tolle Blicke auf den Eiger.
All good, following Sandbach superiore. Less deep than this one, but great views of the Eiger.

Begehung nach 24h leichtem Regen am Tag davor. Trotzdem war der Wasserstand nicht hoch, auch im zweiten Teil. Falls man die Schlucht geniessen will, sind 4 Stunden für den Abstieg eher knapp bemessen. (Wir hatten 6 Stunden mit 6 Personen) Am Ende des zweiten Teils hat es eine frische Handrutschung, die wir orographisch links durch ein Loch durchklettern konnten. Das Gestein ist aber sehr lose. Danach unterirdisch dem Fluss nach weiter bis zur Holzleiter orog. rechts. Alle Verankerungen top.
Ascent after 24 hours of light rain the day before. Nevertheless, the water level was not high, even in the second part. If you want to enjoy the canyon, 4 hours for the descent is rather short. (We had 6 hours with 6 people) At the exit of the second part there is a fresh hand slide, which we were able to climb through orographically on the left through a hole. However, the rock is very loose. Then continue underground along the river to the wooden ladder orog. right. All anchors top.

Alle Verankerungen top, viele Fixseile vorhanden. Alle Pools tief ausgewaschen. Wir hatten 400 l/s, das Kanonenrohr haben wir gerutscht, jedoch sollte jemand beim Pool unten stehen und mit einem Seil beim Aussteig aus dem Pool helfen.
All anchors top, many fixed ropes available. All pools deeply washed out. We had 400 l/s, we slid the cannon tube, but someone should stand at the bottom of the pool and help with a rope to get out of the pool.
