Es entpuppt sich dann aber als recht angenehm da man im Becken gut stehen kann. Unterwegs gibt es einiges an Holz welches teilweise skurrile Formen angenommen hat. Es gibt fast immer gute Doppelhaken mit Kette.

Stretti di Giaredo Kurze einfache Schlucht mit einigen Schwimmstellen ohne Abseilmöglichkeiten. v1a5I Keine Ausrüstung Bei schönem Wetter stark frequentiert was deutlich sichtbar zu Problemen mit den Anwohnern führt. Die Zufahrtsstraßen sind inzwischen entsprechend gesperrt. P nur noch bei 44.3609923N, 9.8741908E 3 Plätze und entlang der Straße bei 44.3677423N, 9.8625505E möglich. Bei 44.3677423N, 9.8625505E verlässt man durch eine Rinne, noch vor den Verbotsschildern, den Fahrweg hinunter zum Fluss. Diesem folgt man aufwärts bis die Felswände den Canyon bilden. Das erste Stück ist das Spektakulärste. Nach ca. 150 m weiter sich die Schlucht wieder. Nach dem unterqueren einer Brücke verengt sich die Schlucht nochmals. Einen großen Klemmblock kann man orographisch rechts umklettern und erreicht bald den letzten Pool in rotem Gestein. Hier ist der Umkehrpunkt. Gesamtlänge der Schlucht ca. 700 m Bitte respektiert die Bedürfnisse der Anwohner.

Marmitte dei Giganti Löscher der Riesen Sehr einfache trockene Schlucht in herrlich geschliffenen Marmor. Die eigentliche Schwierigkeit besteht im Aufstieg. Die Abschüssigen Platten verlangen ein sicheres klettern im II Grad. Es sind für den Aufstieg ausreichend Haken vorhanden. Auch nach Regen führt die Schlucht schnell kein Wasser mehr. Allerdings muss der grasdurchsetzte Fels im Aufstieg trocken sein sonst wird es heikel. Ausrüstung super, Aufstiegshaken nicht ganz so super aber für die schrägen Platten sollten sie reichen. Von der SP13 folgt man ab dem Punkt 44.0615267N, 10.2879448E den reichlich vorhanden orangen Markierungen. Anschließend auf der orographisch linken Seite den gelben Markierungen hinterher klettern. Später wieder im Schluchtgrund den Markierungen folgen. Man kann nach dem "Wasserfall" 44.0660266N, 10.2841258E noch weiter der Markierung folgen oder beginnt mit diesem den Abstieg.

Marmitte dei Giganti Extinguisher of the Giants Very easy dry canyon in beautifully polished marble. The real difficulty lies in the ascent. The sloping slabs require safe climbing in grade II. There are enough anchors for the ascent. Even after rain, the canyon quickly runs out of water. However, the grass-covered rock in the ascent must be dry otherwise it will be tricky. Then climb after the yellow markings on the orographic left-hand side. Later, follow the markings again at the bottom of the gorge. Forra Laudani Sehr kurze aber schicke Schlucht. Der Bach mündet später in die Gole Aranciara. Von Limina folgt man der breiten Straße zum Ende des Asphalt 37°56.72708'N, 15°15.22607'E. Hier parken oder noch 3 km weiterholpern wenn es das Auto verträgt und Lackkratzer kein Problem sind. Vor der großen Brücke an der Unterbrechung des Mäuerchens 37°55.92842'N, 15°14.03908'E in einer Serpentine hinunter zu einer Art Furt (Einstieg) 37°55.96077'N, 15°14.01772'E. Es folgen einige kurze Rinnen und Stufen die bestens mit Haken ausgerüstet sind. Dann folgt der Höhepunkt der Schlucht die 10 m Abseile in der Wasserlinie. Wenn der Wasserdruck zu hoch ist kann man rechts von einer etwas versteckten Schlinge an einem Klemmblock direkt in den Pool abseilen. Es folgt noch eine kleine Stufe und durch eine Rinne schlittert man in den letzten Pool 37°56.07888'N, 15°14.04236'E. Man steigt links einen kleinen Seitenbach und den steilen Hang nach oben und gelangt entlang der Schlucht in wenigen min zum Einstieg. Ohne ausreichend Wasser ist die Schlucht eher uninteressant. Ausrüstung Super mehrere Ausstiegsmöglichkeiten a3v2III Unter der Brücke ist noch ein Pool mit einer Schwimmstelle ggf. ist dort auch ein kleiner Sprung möglich. Forra Laudani Very short but beautiful canyon. The stream later flows into the Gole Aranciara. From Limina, follow the wide road to the exit of the asphalt 37°56.72708'N, 15°15.22607'E. Park here or continue for another 3 km if your car can take it and paint scratches are not a problem. Sirina Großes Tal westlich unterhalb von Castelmola. Es gibt wohl 3 Schluchtabschnitte die begangen werden. Informationen waren nur über 2 Abschnitte zu finden. Von Villagonia schmale Straße unter der Autobahn hindurch das Tal aufwärts. Bei 37°51.14594'N, 15°15.67966'E kleine Asphaltstraße rechts weiter. Ein Fahrzeug kann man bei 37°51.46847'N, 15°16.01785'E abstellen. Weiter hinten sind kaum noch Parkmöglichkeiten. Am Ende des Fahrweges oberhalb des Gebäudes den Bach queren und Pfad durch Terassengelände auf einen Rücken. Hier schräg den kaum sichtbaren Pfad hinab zum Beginn der Schlucht. Die folgende Schlucht ist auch nach Regen trocken. Einige kleine Gumpen kann man überschreiten. v3a1III Ausrüstung super, meist Ketten 1. 23 m nach 10 m Zwischenstand 2. 4m 3. 5m 4. 10 m 5. 8m 6. 19 m 7. 8 m 8. 15 m Wenige m vor dem Bachlauf (kleiner Wasserfall) kann man rechts sehr steil den Hang nach oben steigen. Folgt man dem Bach bis zu einem Weg sind die letzten m stark verwachsen und mühselig zu überwinden. Der Fahrweg rechts nach oben ist dafür sehr angenehm. Beim erreichen des Zufahrtsweges rechts zurück zum P.

Sicherheitshalber kann man vorher an der von oben sichtbaren Rohrbrücke ein Fixseil (20m) als Notausstieg installieren. Die klettersteigähnlichen Klammern sind sehr zugewachsen. Je nach Bewuchs ins Bachbett und dieses durch Schilf bis zur ersten Abseilstelle. v3a2IV Ausrüstung gut 1. 4m 2. 3 m Hangelseil 3. 4m 4. mehrere kurze T teils mit BH 5. 2BH 3 m Zugang zu 14 m Abseile, Kette 6. Kurzer T Die 14 m Abseile im Wasserlauf ist, je nach Wasserangebot, das lohnendste Stück in der Schlucht. Nach dem alten Wassergebäude sofort rechts die kaum sichtbare Pfadspur (Gartenschere hilfreich) hinauf zur Rohrbrücke und von dort weiter nach oben zum Zustieg.

Gola Palazzolo Schöne Schlucht die sehr entspannt beginnt. Die Anforderungen steigen permanent bis zum sehr schönen 35 m Wasserfall am Ende. Von der SP110 bei 37.9823458N, 14.9811202E auf eine kleine Asphaltstraße abbiegen. P bei 37.9649756N, 14.9895190E. Von hier dem Feldweg folgen zu einer Furt bei 37.9576660N, 14.9853086E. Hier einsteigen. Nach wenigen Metern tritt der Bach in die Schlucht ein. Es folgen mehrere kurze Abseilstellen nicht länger als 5 m die teils auch abgeklettert werden können. Sprünge sind nicht möglich. Die kleinen Pool's sind flach und verblockt. Die oft glatten Blöcke im Wasserlauf erfordern einiges an Vorsicht. Auf den kurze Abseiler nach dem Baumriesen folgt ein Kanal (je nach Wasserangebot kritisch) mit mehreren BH der zum letzten Fall führt. Man kann von der Kette in einem Step 35 m im Wasserlauf abseilen oder links 10 m zu 2 mäßigen BH0. Von diesen führt eine 25 m Abseile über eine Strudeltopfhöhle in den Abschluss Pool. Alternativ kann man von den mäßigen BH nach links queren und von einem Baum außerhalb der Wasserlinie abseilen. Aus dem letzten Pool links aussteigen und Pfadspur zum eingezäunten Wassergebäude. Am Zaun entlang bis zum Weg auf diesem unschwierig zurück zum P. Die Anforderungen schwanken sehr stark entsprechend des Wasserangebotes. Im späten Frühjahr ist die Schlucht oft schnell trocken und dann eher uninteressant. Wasserqualität: gut aber trüb, kaum Müll Ausrüstung: gut bis mäßig Notausstieg nur am Beginn möglich

Gola Palazzolo Beautiful canyon that starts very relaxed. The path becomes steadily more demanding until the very beautiful 35 m waterfall at the exit. After a few meters, the stream enters the canyon. There are several short abseils no longer than 5 m, some of which can be downclimbed. Jumps are not possible. The small pools are shallow and blocked. The often slippery blocks in the watercourse require some caution. The short rappel after the giant tree is followed by a channel (critical depending on the water supply) with several BHs leading to the final drop. You can rappel from the chain in a 35 m step in the watercourse or left 10 m to 2 moderate BH0. From these, a 25 m rappel leads over a whirlpool cave into the final pool. Alternatively, you can traverse from the moderate BH to the left and rappel from a tree outside the waterline. Exit the last pool on the left and follow the path to the fenced water building. Forra sghiccio malvagna a3v2III Im selben Ort noch ein 2. Canyon (wasserführend) Übersichtlicher Canyon mit 5 kurzen Abseilstellen. Man kämpft sich durch die engen Straßen von Malvagna zu einer monströsen Straße die nach unten zur Cascata Sghiccio führt. P 37.9215766N, 15.0606619E wenige Schritte oberhalb am Ende der Straße. Hier ist der Ausstieg und man kann gut den Wasserstand überprüfen. Die Straße wieder hinauf und durch den Ort aufwärts zum Friedhof. Weiterer P 37.9205583N, 15.0566608E. Die Gesperrte Straße hinter dem Friedhof bis rechts ein offenes Gebäude kommt. Scharf rechts die Forststraße bis zu einem Drahtzaun. Innerhalb einem Rücken folgen. Noch vor dessen Ende scharf links zurück weglos den Hang schräg absteigen bis man auf einen Pool trifft. Einstieg 37.9270912N, 15.0621766E. Man folgt jetzt ca. 400m dem Bachbett. Es folgen kurz aufeinander 4 Kaskaden. Nach einem weiteren Gehstück erreicht man die letzte und schönste Abseilstellen der Schlucht die in einen Doppelpool mündet. 1. 12 m 2BH rechts, 1,BH links 2. 9 m 1BH+1SH links direkt über Wasserlinie 3. 13 m 2 BH links in trocknen Seitenarm 4. 8m 2BH links unterhalb Bäumen 5. 7m 2BH links oberhalb unter kleiner Mauer Ausrüstung gut Ausstieg jederzeit rechts oder links möglich Track bei Wikiloc

Die Originaldaten von Gulliver.it verweisen auf eine Wanderung in Norditalien. Einen technischen Canyon gibt's in Pantalica wohl nicht. Aber es existiert ein netter Aquatrek: Je nach Wasserangebot variiert der Karakter der Tour stark. Ausgangspunkt ist der Parkplatz am östlichen Eingang in das Anapo Tal. Am Eingang zum Naturpark muss man sich in ein Buch eintragen. Die Öffnungszeiten des Einlasses variieren jahreszeitlich. Man folgt dem Fahrweg auf der alten Eisenbahntrasse. Die erste ausgewiesene Möglichkeit die Trasse zu verlassen führt Richtung Eingang Ferla. Nach wenigen Metern muss der Anapo gequert werden. Weiter geht es bergauf an der etwas versteckten römischen Wasserleitung vorbei zum Eingang Ferla (Parkplatz). Von dort links absteigen in einem großen Bogen (unterwegs versperrt ein grünes Tor den Abstieg zur interessanten Grotta dei pipistrelli) hinab zum Torrente Calcinara. Hier beginnt der eigentliche Trek. Je nach Jahreszeit ist hier der Punkt zum anlegen des Neopren. Man folgt jetzt dem Wasserlauf durch eine vielzahl von Becken und einigen kurzen unschwierigen Wasserfällen. Auf der linken Seite erreicht man den Beginn der röhmischen Wasserleitung. Hier gibt es eine Sprungmöglichkeit 4m. Gegenüber kommt ein steiler Pfad herab der als Notausstieg dienen kann. Nach 200 m erreicht man den Fiume Anapo. Jetzt weiter flussabwärts bis man rechts auf einen Pfad aussteigen kann. Man kann dem Anapo weiter abwärts folgen. Dies wird aber auf Grund des glatten Gesteins schnell mühsam. The original data from Gulliver.it refers to a hike in northern Italy. There is probably no technical canyon in Pantalica. But there is a nice aqua trek: Depending on the water supply, the character of the tour varies greatly. The starting point is the parking lot at the eastern entrance to the Anapo Valley. You have to register in a book at the entrance to the nature park. The opening hours of the entrance vary according to the season. Follow the road along the old railroad track. The first signposted possibility to leave the track leads towards the Ferla entrance. After a few meters you have to cross the Anapo. Continue uphill past the somewhat hidden Roman water pipe to the Ferla entrance (parking lot). From there, descend to the left in a large arc (on the way, a green gate blocks the descent to the interesting Grotta dei pipistrelli) down to Torrente Calcinara. This is where the actual trek begins. Depending on the time of year, this is the point to put on your neoprene. You now follow the watercourse through a number of pools and a few short, easy waterfalls. On the left you reach the beginning of the Bohemian aqueduct. There is a possible jump of 4m here. Opposite is a steep path that can be used as an emergency exit. After 200 m you reach the Fiume Anapo. Now continue downstream until you can get out onto a path on the right. You can follow the Anapo further downstream. However, this quickly becomes tedious due to the slippery rock. You soon reach the point where you crossed the Anapo on the ascent. Durch das zurück gehende Wasser gut machbar. Der liebevoll angelegte Zustieg und Rückweg verfällt leider und fängt an zu zuwachsen.

Easily doable due to the receding water. The lovingly laid out access and return path is unfortunately falling into disrepair and is beginning to overgrow.

Super Verankerungspunkte. Bei dem relativ hohen Wasserangebot schon fordernd. Kurz aber schön.

Superiore anchorage points. Challenging with the relatively high water supply. Short but beautiful.

Sehr schöne Tour, interessant der landschaftliche Wechsel wenn man den Hauptstrom erreicht. Der letzte Abseiler ist etwas heikel da der Hauptstrahl gequert werden muss und es ziemlich glatt ist.

Very nice tour, interesting scenic change when you reach the main stream. The last rappel is a bit tricky as you have to cross the main stream and it is quite slippery.

An den Bäumen keine Schlingen. Am 2. Abseiler liegt aktuell eine tote Sau. Der erste Teil ist nett. Nach dem langen Abseiler ziemlich viel Schutt. Der letzte nochmal Recht nett.

No slings on the trees. There is currently a dead sow on the 2nd rappel. The first part is nice. After the long rappel quite a lot of rubble. The last one is quite nice again.
