Wir fahren von Kössen aus in Richtung Erpfendorf. Wenn wir in Erpfendorf angelangt sind, biegen wir nach der Brücke über die Großache in die zweite Straße auf der linken Seite ab (Hausstattweg). Auf dieser Straße fahren wir so weit, bis wir an einem Salz-Silo vorbei kommen. Kurz darauf folgt ein Parkplatz am Grießbach (linker Fahrbahnrand). Es wurde mit den Anwohnern abgeklärt, dass man hier parken kann, da es im hinteren Bereich (nahe der Schlucht) sehr wahrscheinlich zu Streitigkeiten kommen kann, wenn dort bei den Häusern geparkt würde.

We drive from Kössen in the direction of Erpfendorf. When we arrive in Erpfendorf, we turn into the second road on the left after the bridge over the Großache (Hausstattweg). Continue along this road until you pass a salt silo. Shortly afterwards there is a parking lot on the Grießbach (left-hand side of the road). It has been clarified with the local residents that you can park here, as there is a high probability of disputes in the rear area (near the canyon) if you park near the houses.

Wir folgen dem Hausstattweg, bis wir zu einer kleinen Siedlung gelangen. Von hier aus gehen wir in östliche Richtung, bis zum Haus Nr. 20. Kurz vor dem Haus geht ein Weg links am Grundstück vorbei hinauf auf den Berg. Nach ungefähr der hälfte des Weges folgen wir dem links abzweigenden und serpentinen-artigen Weg in nord-westliche Richtung, bis wir unseren Fluss am Einstiegspunkt des unteren Teils und Ausstiegspunkt des oberen Teils queren. Beim Zustieg hat man öfters die Möglichkeit einen Blick in die Schlucht zu werfen und den Wasserstand zu kontrollieren.

We follow the Hausstattweg until we reach a small settlement. From here, we walk in an easterly direction until we reach house no. 20. Shortly before the house, a path on the left leads past the property up the hill. About halfway up, we follow the serpentine path branching off to the left in a north-westerly direction until we cross our river at the entry point of the lower section and the exit point of the upper section. During access, you often have the opportunity to take a look into the canyon and check the water level.

Wir steigen auf der orographisch linken Seite in den Bach. Nach einer kurzen Geh-/Abkletter-Passage folgt eine Reihe von Abselern in folgender Reihenfolge: A5 li, A25 re, A12 re, A8 re, S1, A9 re, A3 li Alle Stellen sind über Expansionshaken zu absolvieren in einer alpinen und eher offenen Schlucht. Es gab aber auch beim Ausstieg schon Probleme mit Anwohnern, denen das Canyoning hier nicht recht ist/war. Eventuelle Infos zu Begehungen dürfen sehr gerne unter Begehungen eingetragen werden.

We path into the stream on the orographic left side. After a short walk/downclimb passage, a series of downclimbs follows in the following order: A5 left, A25 right, A12 right, A8 right, S1, A9 right, A3 left All passages are to be completed via expansion bolts in an alpine and rather open canyon. However, there have also been problems with local residents at the exit who do not like canyoning here. Any information about ascents can be entered under ascents.

Wir steigen auf der orographisch linken Seite uber einen gut erkennbaren Trampelpfad noch vor der Hütte am Bachbett aus. Anschließend folgen wir dem gleichen Wanderweg, vorbei am Golfplatz, bis zum Auto.

We exit on the orographic left side via a clearly recognizable trail before the hut at the streambed. We then follow the same hiking trail past the golf course to the car.

In der Regel eine Tour mit geringen Wasserdurchsatz. Bei mehr Regen kann der Pegel aber stark ansteigen und einiges an Geschiebe mit sich führen.

Usually a tour with a low water flow. With more rain, however, the water level can rise sharply and carry a lot of debris with it.
