Seitenbach zur Soffia mit einem herrlichen, freifallenden 105m Wasserfall. Die Schlucht mündet nach der Engklamm in die Gola della Soffia. Man kann diese entweder bis zum Lago da Mis durchsteigen (2h), oder nach dem nächsten hohen Abseiler und dem langen Korridor rechts aussteigen und zu Fuß einem kleinen Pfad durch den Wald zur Zustiegsstraße absteigen (ca. 30 Minuten). Alternativ kann man im Pisson auch nach dem 105er Wasserfall rechts sehr steil und weitgehend weglos durch den Wald zum Zustiegspfad aufsteigen. Auf diese Weise könnte man auch den schönsten Teil der Soffia nach dem Pisson machen. Man kann auch schon weiter oben im Val dei Forti einsteigen.

In this way, you could also do the most beautiful part of the Soffia after the Pisson. You can also start further up in the Val dei Forti.

SS203 von Belluno Ri. Agordo, bei der Ponte Mas links Richtung "Valle del Mis" abzweigen. Schöne Übernachtungsmöglichkeit am See, legal 2016 nur mit Camper möglich. Weiter durchs Tal und nach der Brücke im Bereich "Cascate della Soffia" parken.

SS203 from Belluno Ri. Agordo, at Ponte Mas turn left towards "Valle del Mis". Nice overnight stay at the lake, legal 2016 only possible with camper. Continue through the valley and park after the bridge in the area "Cascate della Soffia".

Der steilen, nur für Anrainer freigegeben Straße bis nach Genna Alta folgen. Bei einem Brunnen rechts abzweigen und einer Forststrasse bis zum Einstieg für die Soffia folgen. Über den Bach und rechts ansteigend zu einer Wegkreuzung aufsteigen. Dem rechten, querenden Weg stellenweise ausgesetzt bis zum Bachbett des Val Pisson folgen.

Follow the steep road, open only to residents, until you reach Genna Alta. At a fountain turn right and follow a forest road to the entry for the Soffia. Cross the stream and climb to the right to a crossroads. Follow the right crossing path, exposed in places, to the streambed of Val Pisson.

ACHTUNG: der "obligatorische 5 m Sprung" am Einstieg ist derzeit (Mai 2024) NICHT möglich, das Becken ist nur hüfttief !! Es existiert aber links am Boden an einem kleinen Klemmblock eine alte und zerfaserte Seilschlinge zum abseilen. * 5m abseilen, KLemmblock links unten * Abklettern\n\n * 35m Abseiler, 2 Haken links * 11m Abseilen, 2 Haken rechts Nun folgt der 105 Meter hohe Wasserfall: * 15m Abseilen, 2 Haken & Bügel links. Man muss sich beim Abseilen stark nach orografisch links halten um ein Quergangsseil zum nächsten Stand zu erreichen. Sollte man dies verfehlen gibts 5m unterhalb noch den alten Hängestand. * 50m Abseilen davon 40m freihängend, 2 Bügel. Platz für 2 Personen. * 45m Abseilen, 2 Haken. Felsnische, Platz für max. 4 Personen. * Fluchtmöglichkeit nach rechts (20min, weitgehend weglos) Di* 5m rechts abseilen, 2 Haken * Quergangsseil zu Stand rechts. 37m von 2 Haken abseilen oder nach orografisch weit rechts außen an die Ecke seilen (ca. 20 m) , dort ist eine Bohrhakenkette vorhanden. Leider ist der Fels dort extrem glatt (Fußschlinge verwenden!) Von dort sind es gut 25 m abseilen * Mündung in die Soffia. Man kann diese entweder bis zum Lago da Mis durchsteigen (2h), oder nach dem nächsten hohen Abseiler und dem langen Korridor rechts aussteigen und zu Fuß einem kleinen Pfad durch den Wald zur Zustiegsstraße absteigen (ca. 30 Minuten). However, there is an old and frayed rope sling for rappeling on a small clamping block on the left at the bottom. * 5m downclimb, clamping block bottom left * downclimb\n\n * 35m rappel, 2 anchors left * 11m rappel, 2 anchors right Now follows the 105 meter high waterfall: * 15m rappel, 2 anchors & stirrups on the left. When rappelling, you have to keep strongly to the orographic left to reach a traverse rope to the next belay. If you miss this, there is still the old hanging belay 5m below. * 50m rappel of which 40m free hanging, 2 hangers. Space for 2 people. * 45m rappel, 2 anchors. Rock alcove, space for max. 4 people. * Escape option to the right (20min, largely pathless) Di* 5m rappel right, 2 anchors * Cross rappel to belay on the right. Rappel 37m from 2 anchors or rappel to the orographic far right corner (approx. 20 m), where there is a bolt chain. Unfortunately the rock there is extremely slippery (use a foot sling!) From there it is a good 25 m rappel * Mouth of the Soffia. You can either climb through this to Lago da Mis (2h), or exit after the next high rappel and the long corridor on the right and descend on foot along a small path through the forest to the access road (approx. 30 minutes). Alternatively, after the 105 waterfall in Pisson, you can climb up very steeply and largely pathlessly through the forest to the access path.

Der Ausstieg befindet sich nach dem nächsten, ca 38 Meter hohen Abseiler der Soffia. Es folgt ein längerer Korridor. Wenn sich die Schlucht weitet, gibt es rechtsufrig an einem großen Felsblock einen Pfad, der erst parallel zum Wasser verläuft, um dann in den Wald aufzusteigen. Man passiert ein altes Wasserhäuschen und einen Gedenkschrein bevor man die Zustiegsstrasse erreicht. Dieser Rückweg dauert ca. 30 Minuten. Alternativ kann man die Soffia bis zu den Aussichtsplatformen absteigen (höchster Abseiler ca. 30m, insgesamt 6 Abseilstellen - aktuell (Mai 2024) sind die letzten drei nur mangelhaft ausgerüstet). Wer mag hängt auch noch den letzten Abseiler in die Engklamm zum See an. Allerdings ist der Zugang etwas sportlich und der Startpunkt für das Seilgeländer nur sehr schwer zu entdecken.

The exit is located after the next, approx. 38 meter high rappel of the Soffia. A longer corridor follows. When the canyon widens, there is a path on the right bank by a large boulder that first runs parallel to the water and then ascends into the forest. You pass an old water house and a memorial shrine before reaching the access road. This way back takes about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can descend the Soffia to the viewing platforms (highest rappel approx. 30m, 6 rappels in total - currently (May 2024) the last three are poorly equipped). If you like, you can also do the last rappel into the gorge to the lake. However, the access is a bit sporty and the starting point for the rope traverse is very difficult to spot.
