Von Arbatax Richtung Westen auf der SS198; Nach 2,1km rechts abbiegen auf SP27; Nach ca. 15 min (13,8km) sieht man rechts eine Schotterstraße mit davor einem Kreuz (Motoradunfall) und Holzschild mit dem Namen „Cascata Sothai“. Hier rechts abbiegen und auf der Schotterpiste ca 200m bis zu einem Haus. Hier parken.

From Arbatax head west on the SS198; after 2.1km turn right onto the SP27; after approx. 15 minutes (13.8km) you will see a gravel road on the right with a cross (motorcycle accident) in front of it and a wooden sign with the name "Cascata Sothai". Turn right here and follow the gravel road for approx. 200m until you reach a house. Park here.

Um zum Einstieg der Tour zu kommen, geht man zu Fuß die Schotterpiste wieder hinaus zur SP27 und folgt dieser für ca 6min bis zur Brücke die über die Bau Figu führt. Abstieg durch die Gärten oder direkt beider Brücke or. links.

To get to the entry point of the tour, walk along the gravel road back out to the SP27 and follow it for about 6 minutes to the bridge that crosses the Bau Figu. Descend through the gardens or directly from the bridge or left.

Direkt nach der Brücke kommt eine kurze Geh- und Abkletterpassage bis zum ersten 20m Abseiler. Dieser ist auch der Schwierigste der Tour weil man sich direkt in der Wasserführung und überhängend in einen tiefen Gumpen abseilt. Zusätzlich ist die Stelle auch noch sehr rutschig. Es gibt die Möglichkeit eine Seilbahn aufzubauen, Klebehaken am Gumpenrand or. li. Die nächsten 4 kürzeren Abseilstellen lassen nicht lange auf sich warten max 10m. Der letzte der kurzen Abseiler kann beim Seilabzug Schwierigkeiten bereiten (Klemmblock). Es folgt eine kurze Geh- und Abkletterpassage bevor man eine wunderschöne Aussicht ins Tal (Stausee) hat. Hier steht man auch schon an der Schlusskaskade. Man seilt sich zuerst 20m zum Standplatz des 45m Abseilers ab, auf den der höchste Abseiler mit 53m folgt. Zwischen den 45m und 53m Abseiler hat man genügend Platz um ungesichert zu stehen. Das Wasser verteilt sich großflächig über den breiten Felsrücken. Nach der hohen Kaskade zahlt sich das Fortsetzen der Tour nicht aus, da nur noch eine lange Bachwanderung und ein 20m Abseiler kommen würde.

Directly after the bridge there is a short walk and downclimb to the first 20m rappel. The last of the short rappels can cause difficulties during rope retrival (clamping block). A short walk and downclimb follows before you have a beautiful view of the valley (reservoir). Here you are already at the final cascade. First abseil 20m to the belay station of the 45m rappel, followed by the highest rappel at 53m. There is enough space between the 45m and 53m rappels to stand unsecured. The water is spread over a large area across the broad rocky ridge. After the high cascade, it is not worth continuing the tour, as there is only a long river walk and a 20m rappel to come.

Direkt nach dem hohen Schlussabseiler or. rechts dem deutlich sichtbaren Wanderweg entlang des Holzgeländers steil bergauf bis zum Parkplatz folgen.
