Es un barranco corto en longitud y de escasa verticalidad que no presenta muchas dificultades, a inicios de verano pierde todo su caudal y se seca, Mejor realizarlo tras lluvias o al comienzo de la temporada. El Estado de equipamiento actual (2023) es regular. Consta de dos tramos un primer tramo mas abierto y poco vertical donde se suceden una serie de pequeños resaltes (algunos equipados) que discurren entre pequeñas pozas y tramos de andar sobre el cauce y la elevada vegetación. Y una segunda parte mas encajonada y vertical para salir del barranco donde se suceden varios rapeles. Barranco de coleccionista, recomendable si estas por la zona o para la colección. El Barranco se encuentra dentro del Parque Natural Sabinares de Arlanza. Consultar posibles regulaciones.

Llegamos hasta Lerma por la A1 y aquí nos deviamos hacia la BU900. Antes de llegar a Quintanilla cogemos el desvío a la derecha por la BU-V-9004. Al poco llegamos a Tejada. Atravesamos el pueblo y seguimos por una pista (camino Barriosuso) hasta el final en una chopera

We arrive to Lerma on the A1 and here we turn to the BU900. Before reaching Quintanilla we take the detour to the right on the BU-V-9004. Soon we arrive at Tejada. We cross the village and continue along a track (Barriosuso road) until the end in a poplar grove.

A la salida del barranco de puede retornar por la ladera izquierda o derecha
