Entre Chóvar y Eslidar por la C219. Lo más rápido es desde Vall de Uxó por la CV230 para desviarnos a Chóvar en el p.k. 9,3 Llegaremos a Chóvar y lo pasaremos para buscar una curva cerrada de izquierdas en el p.k. 4,4. Justo antes del puente sale a nuestra derecha una pista por la que nos meteremos. A los 500m dejamos una pista a la izquierda que baja al arroyo del Carbón, al casi kilómetro dejamos una pista también a la izquierda justo antes de una curva cerrada de derechas, seguiremos 200m hasta otra horquilla de izquierdas tras la que podremos aparcar el coche de retorno a la derecha. Con el coche de acceso, si tenemos dos coches, seguimos por la pista y pasamos una curva seguida de una horquilla de derechas, tras ellas sale una pista a la izquierda que dejaremos a un lado. Después de ese cruce seguimos hacia el sur unos 400m hasta una curva cerrada de izq con un depósito de aguas. Aparcamos.

With the access car, if we have two cars, we continue along the track and pass a curve followed by a right hairpin, after them comes a track on the left that we will leave aside. After that junction we continue south about 400m to a sharp left curve with a water tank. We park.

Desde el depósito bajaremos por una especie de senda hacia el cauce.

Un primer rápel con la ferrata a nuestra derecha, para bajar a la gran vertical, podremos volver a subir al R1 por la ferrata. La gran vertical son 55m o fraccionados en 31+18+10, el primer fraccionamiento para solo dos personas, el tercer largo es destrepable por la derecha. Finalmente un rápel antes de encontrar el PR a nuestra derecha.

Por el PR remontaremos hasta la pista, en la subida podemos echarnos a la izquierda a visitar la mina de cinabrio “El socavón” actualmente cerrada.
