Hay que situarse en Salvatierra de Esca. Por la A21 de Pamplona a Jaca saldremos dirección Sigües por la A137. Tras pasar Sigües y antes de llegar a Salvatierra, en el pk 5,7 tenemos una zona de descanso donde podemos dejar el coche de retorno. Unos 200m después está el puente sobre el arroyo y un poco más adelante otro apartadero a la derecha. Con el coche de acceso, si lo tenemos, continuaremos a Salvatierra y nada más entrar cogeremos el desvío a la izquierda a Castillonuevo. Justo en el cementerio a la salida del pueblo hay una pista por la que podríamos ir (hay que informarse si el tránsito en vehículo está permitido). En caso contrario seguimos por la carretera hasta casi el pk 13, 50m antes en una curva de derechas sale a la izquierda una pista que, enlazando con la que va del cementerio, nos bajará hasta el arroyo.

We must be located in Salvatierra de Esca. By the A21 from Pamplona to Jaca we will leave towards Sigües by the A137. After passing Sigües and before arriving to Salvatierra, in the pk 5,7 we have a rest area where we can leave the car of return. About 200m later there is a bridge over the stream and a little further on there is another lay-by on the right. With the access car, if we have it, we will continue to Salvatierra and as soon as we enter we will take the detour to the left to Castillonuevo. Just at the cemetery at the exit of the village there is a track along which we could go (it is necessary to find out if the transit in vehicle is allowed). Otherwise we continue along the road until almost the pk 13, 50m before in a right curve on the left a track that, linking with the one that goes from the cemetery, we will go down to the stream.

Con dos coches es inmediato. Con un coche iremos al cementerio de Salvatierra y cogeremos la pista que sale y la seguiremos hasta el arroyo. Hay un par de atajos que se puede usar para acortar el acceso (ver mapa)

With two cars it is immediate. With a car we will go to the cemetery of Salvatierra and take the track that comes out and follow it to the stream. There are a couple of shortcuts that can be used to shorten the access (see map).

Nada interesante y duro si la encontramos seca, en caso de tener agua encontraremos largas badinas con saltos, destrepes y varios rápeles. No es que el cañón tenga mucha continuidad pero sí cierto encanto gracias a sus rápeles largos. El último de 48m al lado de la carretera, cuando lleva agua, es una maravilla

Nothing interesting and hard if we find it dry, in case of having water we will find long badinas with jumps, destrepes and several rappels. It is not that the canyon has a lot of continuity but it has a certain charm thanks to its long rappels. The last one of 48m next to the road, when there is water, is a marvel.
