Von Biasca ri. Locarno --> ins Maggia Tal --> in die Ortschaft Giumaglio über die Brücke und gleich die erste Straße re --> hier li erste Parkmöglichkeit oder die Straße folgen re abbiegen und direkt an der Brücke kleine Parkmöglichkeit --> hier hat man auch schon einen Einblick auf die letzten Abseiler C40 und den Wasserstand (ca. 360Hm).

From Biasca ri. Locarno --> into the Maggia valley --> into the village Giumaglio over the bridge and immediately the first street to the right --> here li first parking possibility or follow the street to the right and directly at the bridge small parking possibility --> here you already have a view of the last rappel C40 and the water level (approx. 360Hm).

Vom Parkplatz aus geht man ri. Kirche --> dahinter führen mehrere enge Gassen zum Wanderweg der zu Cappella di Cima hochführt --> die Steinstufen gehen durchwegs steil hoch --> vorbei an Eisentor bis zu einen kleinen Steinhäuschen mit Brunnen (ca. 540Hm) --> hinter diesem Haus hat man die erste Abstiegsmöglichkeit in die Schlucht (Einstieg Nizzola Eldorado Ticino)--> 2. Möglichkeit ist etwas weiter oben beim Wallfahrtshäuschen --> hier die Steinmauer entlang folgen bis zu einem Stahlseil und einer Abseilstelle R25 von Baum --> 3. Möglichkeit am 2. Wahlfahrtshäuschen re ri. Camusegn und den Weg bis zur Brücke gehen.

From the parking lot, walk towards the church --> behind it, several narrow alleys lead to the hiking trail that leads up to Cappella di Cima --> the stone steps go up steeply throughout --> past the iron gate to a small stone house with a fountain (approx. 540m) --> behind this house you have the first descent option into the canyon (entry Nizzola Eldorado Ticino)--> 2nd option is a little further up at the pilgrimage house --> follow the stone wall here until you reach a steel cable with a tree --> 3rd option is at the 2nd pilgrimage house on the right at the pilgrimage house. The second option is a little further up at the pilgrimage house --> follow the stone wall until you reach a steel cable and an abseiling point R25 from a tree --> 3rd option at the 2nd pilgrimage house right towards Camusegn and follow the path to the bridge.

Bei unserer Begehung sind wir am ersten Wahlfahrtshäuschen an der Steinmauer entlang gegangen bis zum Abseiler von Baum (R25) --> jetzt steht man im Bachbett --> es folgt eine kurze Gehpassage durch ein mächtiges Felschaos das man li gut umgehen kann --> einen Becken gibt es noch weitere kleine Klettereien bis zu den gigantischen Granitfelsblöcke die man li über ein Seilgeländer umgeht --> nach weitere Klettereien kommt li ein Felsblock mit Fixseil und Abseiler C15 durch ein Spalt --> es folgt ein schöner Sprung bzw. Abseiler von ca. 10m in sehr tiefen Gumpen --> nach der Schwimmpassage wird es enger --> Abseiler li ca. 16m --> schmales Schwimmbecken in sehr klaren Wasser bis zur Stelle die man springen, abseilen oder rutschen kann (tiefes Becken) --> die nächste Stelle ist sehr schmal daher springen nur für Geübte --> im weiteren Verlauf reihen sich die Abseilstellen 40m aneinander die unterschiedlich hoch sind und zum Teil scharfe Kanten haben --> die Aussicht auf nächsten Gumpen und das Tal sind wunderschön (die Nachmittagsonne ist am idealsten) --> der letzte Abseiler kann re umgangen werden, jedoch ladet der unterste Gumpen auf ca. 350Hm noch zum Baden ein. Die Angegebene Zustiegs- und Abstiegszeit gelten für den Einstieg wie im Eldorado Ticino beschrieben. Beschreibung Tour zwischen Brücke und Einstieg Nizzola fehlt.

During our ascent, we walked along the stone wall at the first Wahlfahrtshäuschen until the rappel from Baum (R25) --> now you stand in the streambed --> a short walking passage follows through a mighty chaos of rocks that you can easily bypass left --> there are more small climbs up to the gigantic granite boulders that you bypass left over a rope traverse --> after more climbing, a boulder with fixed ropes and rappel C15 through a gap follows left --> there is a nice jump or rope traverse. rappel of approx. 10m into a very deep pool --> after the swimming passage it gets narrower --> rappel left approx. 16m --> narrow pool in very clear water up to the point where you can jump, rappel or slide (deep pool) --> the next point is very narrow, so jumping is only for experienced climbers --> the next 40m of rappels are lined up at different depths and some have sharp edges --> the view of the next pool and the valley is beautiful (the afternoon sun is ideal) --> the last rappel can be bypassed on the right, but the lowest pool at approx. 350Hm still invites for a swim. The indicated access and descent times apply to the entry as described in Eldorado Ticino. The description of the tour between the bridge and the Nizzola entry is missing.

Am Gumpen vor der Brücke (ca. 360Hm) re die Steinstufen hoch und li durch das Holztor bis zur Straße und zu den ersten oder zweiten Parkplatz.
