About 3 km after the village, at a bridge (about 600m a.s.l.) several short rappel canyons descend to the right to the riverbed of the Patas (cf. Grande (in the direction of Porto Novo), you pass through the village of Corda. There are a few hairpin bends and after a long stretch without a decisive change of direction, there is a sharp bend to the right. Here, at 1130 m above sea level, there is a house in the bend on the left. The descent ends either at the access to the lower part of the Vinha or at the Vinha integrale (recommended) at the end point of the lower Vinha. There you should order a (collective) cab if necessary.
Return: Either after the Vinha sup. at the access point to the Vinha inferiore (crossing footpath); then descend in the opposite direction to the access to the Vinha inferiore (cf. there); or at the exit of the Vinha inferiore (cf. also there). One can also climb at the end of the Vinha sup. the path crossing here instead of right to Losna in the opposite direction left and back to the starting point. Already here you will find the blue markings that we will now follow. After about 15 min. the track ends with a left turn. We pass the path to Janela on the right side of the forest and follow the unfinished track downhill. At 1215 meters above sea level (a few meters after the edge of the forest), the track becomes a hiking trail that initially descends not too steeply along or slightly below the ridge in a northerly direction. At 1110 m a.s.l. a path leads down to the right to Janela. However, we continue to descend steeply in a northerly direction and arrive at the Casas de Topo (1055 m a.s.l.) on the ridge. Now we go downhill in western direction. We see an avocado tree on the side of the path on a terrace (930 m a.s.l.).
