Then turn right and follow the Mount Aicken Track for about 800m. At about 1620m, descend in a south-facing chute for 750m until you reach a small mountain lake. From there, descend steeply south-east into the canyon.<br><strong>Tour:</strong> The tour starts at approx. 1400m. In 2019 only 3 stands were drilled. Approach changed a bit becease of the slip. Try to cross the slip and re-join the track at the spur on the other side.<br><strong>2025-01-19:</strong> Sensational. One of the pretiest canyons ever. A few nice sporty jumps, some cool abseils, and best of all some sporty moves off of ropes navigating little downclimbs through the water flow.

From there, go up and follow the animal tracks to the 650m contour. It's steep in some places but not dangerous. From the 650m contour, try to find your way into the canyon.<br><strong>Tour:</strong> Beautiful approach, 6 easy abseils in low flow, good canyon for beginners.
