Approach: From the Car Park, follow the Devils Punchbowl Track once over the Bealey River and a second time over Devils Punchbowl Creek. Then turn right and follow the Mount Aicken Track for about 800m. At about 1620m, descend in a south-facing chute for 750m until you reach a small mountain lake. From there, descend steeply south-east into the canyon.
Tour: The tour starts at approx. 1400m. In 2019 only 3 stands were drilled. Access: Queenstown -> Glenorchy -> Paradise/Diamond Lake -> Glenorchy-Paradise Rd until you cross the streambed (= just before the exit of the road/Chinaman's Bluff). Here you can park next to the road on the meadows.

Further access: in the middle between the two converging rivers, follow a path that is difficult to see up to the respective contour lines (entry "Les Haut": approx. 1300m, "Superiore": approx. 1050m, "Intermedio": approx. 900m and "Inferiore": approx. 800m). "Les Haut" is the only entry that can be reached on foot. For all other entries, you have to rappel into the streambed. Access depending on the access height: 2-4h

Approach: Follow the Greenstone Track to the creek and look for the blue triangle marked with number 126. From there, go up and follow the animal tracks to the 650m contour. It's steep in some places but not dangerous. From the 650m contour, try to find your way into the canyon.
