La cascada de San Miguel el viejo es un salto de agua de más de 100 metros que realizamos mediante varios rapeles encadenados, con cómodas repisas intermedias. Hay varias vías instaladas para realizar el descenso dependiendo del caudal, algunas con importantes roces y en todas hay que prestar especial atención a la caída de piedras. Los primeros rapeles tienen un considerable patio, son muy impresionantes y mayormente volados. En la zona de los rapeles el track hace anomalías por las paredes, pero no tiene pierdes ni escapes y los croquis que se hicieron con la reequipación lo dicen todo respecto al descenso.
The waterfall of San Miguel el Viejo is a waterfall of more than 100 meters that we make through several chained rappels, with comfortable intermediate ledges. There are several routes installed to make the descent depending on the flow, some with significant friction and all must pay special attention to the fall of stones. The first rappels have a considerable yardage, are very impressive and mostly overhanging. Hay varias vías instaladas para realizar el descenso dependiendo del caudal, algunas con importantes roces y en todas hay que prestar especial atención a la caída de piedras. Los primeros rapeles tienen un considerable patio, son muy impresionantes y mayormente volados. Nos dirigimos al Puerto de Angulo por la carretera BU-550 y dejamos el coche en el aparcamiento situado en lo alto de dicho puerto. Para dejar el segundo vehículo nos dirigiremos por la BU-550 hasta el cruce con la BU-V-5002 para llegar a la localidad de Encima Angulo.
We head to the Puerto de Angulo by the BU-550 road and leave the car in the parking lot located at the top of the port. To leave the second vehicle we drive along the BU-550 to the junction with the BU-V-5002 to reach the town of Encima Angulo.

Al final del aparcamiento vemos a nuestra derecha un paso para ganado, lo cruzamos y seguimos la pista hasta que vemos un sendero ascendente que nos lleva a un alto. Bajamos por el mismo sendero y llegamos al cauce, continuamos por el cauce hasta llegar al inicio.
At the end of the parking we see on our right a cattle crossing, we cross it and follow the track until we see an ascending path that leads to a stop. We go down the same path and reach the riverbed, we continue along the riverbed until we reach the beginning.

Hay varias instalaciones para acceder a la cabecera de la primera vertical, un impresionante volado de 45 metros que nos deja en una cómoda repisa. Dos instalaciones para la segunda vertical en función del caudal, y llegamos a otra repisa. Continúa habiendo dos instalaciones, la derecha tiene importantes roces y la izquierda bastante alejada del cauce. De cualquier forma, vamos encadenando rapeles hasta llegar a una zona de destrepes y a partir de allí, continuamos andando por el cauce.
There are several installations to access the head of the first vertical, an impressive 45-meter overhang that leaves us on a comfortable ledge. Two installations for the second vertical depending on the flow, and we arrive at another ledge. There are still two installations, the right one has significant friction and the left one is quite far from the riverbed. In any case, we are chaining rappels until we reach an area of dexterity and from there, we continue walking along the riverbed.

Vemos un camino que cruza el río, lo cogemos a nuestra derecha y continuamos por este camino que va paralelo al río hasta llegar a la bifurcación marcada con wpt. Donde poco más adelante, a la derecha, encontramos el segundo coche.
We see a road that crosses the river, we take it to our right and continue along this road that runs parallel to the river until we reach the fork marked with wpt. Where a little further on, on the right, we find the second car.
