Caution: At the exit of September 2020, the storm "Alex" triggered a mudslide that thundered through the entire canyon, causing a lot of destruction, especially in the grotto, and graveling up the rubber pits so that slides and jumps were no longer possible. Nothing has fundamentally changed since the exit in 2023. The canyon is accessible again, but has largely lost its special charm. Der Straße kurz talauswärtsfolgen und beim Infoschild auf eine Sandstraße wechseln. Der Straße bis knapp vor ihr Ende folgen und bei Schild rechts auf einen guten Steig abzweigen. Über viele Kehren absteigen bis knapp vor Erreichen des Bachbetts ein Steig nach rechts abzweigt. Diesen Steig bis zum Einstieg bei einem grossen Becken folgen.
Man kann die Tour auch mit nur einem Auto machen. Dann das Fahrzeug in La Giandola im Bereich der Brücke parken und den schönen Wanderweg oberhalb der Schlucht rauf wandern - Dauer etwa 80min.
Follow the road briefly out of the valley and change to a sand road at the information sign. Follow the road until just before its exit and turn right at the signs onto a good path. Descend via many hairpin bends until a path branches off to the right just before reaching the streambed. Follow this path to the entry point at a large basin.
You can also do the tour with just one car. Then park the car in La Giandola near the bridge and hike up the beautiful wall above the canyon - takes about 80 minutes.
