Accesos Bcos Serra de Bernia Desde Altea la Vella hacia Callosa d’Ensarrià por la CV755. Situación Bcos Serra de Bernia Dejaremos a izquierda la gasolinera de Altea la Vella y, poco más adelante, en el cruce nos iremos a la derecha por la Urb Golf Don Cayo. Seguiremos la avenida principal unos 3 km, hasta la calle Costa Azul por donde nos meteremos. A los pocos metros sale a la derecha la calle Alhambra de Granada. Hay una barrera que puede estar, o no, abierta. Aparcamos por aquí el coche de acceso. Si sabemos que va a estar abierta podemos aparcar al final de la calle Alhambra. El coche de retorno (si tenemos dos coches) seguiremos por Costa Azul, Giralda de Sevilla hasta la calle Cornisa. Allí tendremos sitio a la derecha para aparcar.

Access Bcos Serra de Bernia From Altea la Vella towards Callosa d'Ensarrià by the CV755. Location Bcos Serra de Bernia We will leave the Altea la Vella petrol station on the left and, a little further on, at the crossroads we will turn right onto the Urb Golf Don Cayo. We will follow the main avenue for about 3 km, up to the Costa Azul street where we will enter. After a few meters you will find Alhambra de Granada street on the right. There is a barrier that may or may not be open. We park the access car here. If we know it is going to be open we can park at the end of Alhambra street. The return car (if we have two cars) will continue along Costa Azul, Giralda de Sevilla to Cornisa street. There we will have room on the right to park.

Aproximaciones Bcos Pinar de Calces y La Vieja Subiremos por la calle Alhambra de Granada y, tras pasar un deposito de agua, veremos una senda a nuestra izquierda, al lado de la balsa de agua, que nos sube al Pinar de Calces (hay un cartel indicador). Subiremos hasta el pinar en donde nos encontraremos un cruce de senderos que tomamos a la izquierda y 100m después que el sendero gira al norte, nos vamos al oeste en busca de la cabecera de nuestro barranco, al ver la cabecera ya solo habrá que ir al sur por la vaguada hasta el R1

Approaches to the Pinar de Calces and La Vieja woods We will go up the street Alhambra de Granada and, after passing a water tank, we will see a path on our left, next to the water reservoir, which takes us up to the Pinar de Calces (there is a signpost). We will go up to the pine forest where we will find a trail junction that we take to the left and 100m after the trail turns north, we go west in search of the head of our ravine, when we see the head we will only have to go south along the watercourse to the R1.

Descenso vertical, en el que tendremos una sucesión constante de rápeles para salvar el fuerte desnivel. Eso sí, salvo el R4 que es volado y bastante estético, ningún otro rápel se sale de lo normal. El barranco está bastante vestido y por momentos nos podrá molestar en el progreso por el cauce

Tras el último rápel, que podremos evitar por la izquierda, nos iremos a la izquierda a pasar al otro lado hacia la carretera. Luego ya será seguir la calle a la izquierda hasta el coche.
