El barranco de Las Calzadas de Teruel se encuentra en un precioso paraje de la sierra de Lastra a unos 12 kms de Aliaga. Sus instalaciones son bastante viejas por lo que no está de más llevar material de repuesto o asegurar desde algún otro sitio los rapeles. Es un barranco corto, intenso, normalmente seco, o con alguna poza con el agua muy sucia. Los 3 últimos rapeles son en cascada muy bonitos. La aproximación es inmediata pues se encuentra a unos metros de la carretera y el retorno de unos 10-15 minutos. No va mucha gente a realizar este barranco, la soledad y tranquilidad serán la nota durante el descenso.Otra actividad que puedes complementar con otro barranco cercano,el de la Clara.

The canyon of Las Calzadas de Teruel is located in a beautiful spot in the Lastra mountain range, about 12 kms from Aliaga. Its facilities are quite old, so it is a good idea to carry spare material or secure the rappels from somewhere else. It is a short, intense canyon, normally dry, or with some pools with very dirty water. The last 3 rappels are very beautiful cascades. The approach is immediate because it is a few meters from the road and the return is about 10-15 minutes. Not many people go to make this canyon, the solitude and tranquility will be the note during the descent, another activity that you can complement with another nearby canyon, the Clara.

Debemos acercarnos hasta Aliaga (Teruel). En el pueblo tomamos la A-2403 dirección Aldehuela y continuamos por la carretera hasta el km 12,8. Aquí tenemos sitio a la derecha para dejar el coche

We must go to Aliaga (Teruel). In the village we take the A-2403 towards Aldehuela and continue along the road until km 12.8. Here we have a place on the right to leave the car.

5 rápeles sin complicación. El único problema puede ser agua estancada en las pozas y las instalaciones que son viejas y poco fiables

Al terminar se sube hacia la carretera y se remonta por ella 500m hasta el coche
