Von Tolmezzo auf der SS512 ri. Carnia --> weiter auf der SS13 ri. Tarvisio --> bei Moggio Udinese li. abbiegen --> in die Ortschaft(Beschilderung Ovedasso folgen) --> über eine Brücke geht die Landstraße neben dem Fluss “Fella” bis zu einer lang gezogenen li. Kurve --> vor der Brücke des Rio Alba parkt man li. das Überstellungsfahrzeug (ca. 330Hm) --> mit dem 2. Auto fährt man zurück in die Ortschaft Moggio Udinese --> von dort fährt man weiter in die nächste Ortschaft Praxis (477Hm) --> weiter geht es auf einer Asphaltierten Bergstraße ri. “Casera Vualt” --> in einer scharfen li. Kurve bei einer Holztafel re. parken --> hier befindet sich auch ein stark abfallende Forststraße (ca. 730Hm).

From Tolmezzo on the SS512 towards Carnia --> continue on the SS13 towards Tarvisio --> turn left at Moggio Udinese --> enter the village (follow signs for Ovedasso) --> cross a bridge and take the country road next to the river "Fella" until you reach a long bend on the left --> park your shuttle car on the left before the bridge over the Rio Alba (approx. 330m) --> take the 2nd car back to the village of Moggio Udinese --> from there continue to the next village of Praxis (477m) --> continue on an asphalted forest road towards "Casera Vualt" --> in a sharp left bend park on the right by a wooden board --> here there is also a steeply sloping forest road (approx. 730m).

Forststraße abwärts folgen --> nach wenigen Serpentinen wird die Straße flacher. Weiter auf der Straße über eine langezogene Kehre zum Bachbett absteigen. Der vorher nach rechts abzweigende Waldweg wurde inzwischen mit einem Betreten verboten Schild versehen.

Follow the forest road downhill --> after a few hairpin bends the road flattens out. Continue on the road via a long haipin bend down to the streambed. The forest path that previously branched off to the right has now been marked with no trespassing signs.

An der Staumauer auf ca. 610Hm befindet sich eine Pegelmessstation an der man den Wasserstand ablesen kann --> !!! Bei hohen Pegelstand könnte eine Automatische Öffnung eingeleitet werden --> 1. Abseiler von der Staumauer ca. 25m (vom Geländer) --> längere Gehstrecke bis zur enger werdender Schlucht mit kl. Klettereien --> Gehstrecke in engeren Schluchtabschnitt bis zur 1. Abseilstelle in schöner Felskulisse (re. 10m) --> weiter gehen und klettern bis zur 2. Abseilstelle 20m (re.) in großes Kiesbett --> hier öffnet sich die Schlucht --> nach kurzer Gehstrecke und leichten Klettereien kommt man zur einer sehr offenen Passage mit schrägen großen Felsplatten --> im leichten Gefälle überwindet man ein Felschaos (Zufluss von re.) --> am Ende der großen Felsblöcke kommt man zur einer Abseilstelle mit ca. 10m (re.) --> weiter geht und überklettert man wieder einige Stufen und Felsen bis man auf einen kl. Wasserfall li. trifft (li. Zufluss des Rio Alba) --> längere Gehstrecke -->kurzes abklettern ca. 5m --> schöne markante Stelle mit hoher Felswand und eingeschnittenen Kalkfels den man li. umgeht und abklettert --> hier macht die Schlucht eine 90°Linksbiegung --> nach kurzer Zeit trifft man auf eine imposante Kaskade --> hier geht man auf einem Felsband (li.) bis zu einem Stand --> Abseiler 15m --> darauf folgt gleich der nächste Abseiler ca. 10m re. im Wasserverlauf --> gehen bis zum nächsten Wasserfall auf der li. Seite --> nach einer kurzen Dusche kann man den Neopren ausziehen --> ab hier geht man ein sehr breites Bachbett für ca. 30min. bis zur Brücke entlang --> re. bei Überstellungsfahrzeug aussteigen (ca. 310Hm).

If the water level is high, an automatic opening could be initiated --> 1st rappel from the dam wall approx. 25m (from the railing) --> longer walking passages to the narrowing canyon with small climbs --> walking passages in a narrower section of the canyon to the 1st rappel point in a beautiful rocky backdrop (right 10m) --> continue walking and climbing to the 2nd rappel point 20m (right) in a large gravel bed --> here the canyon opens --> continue walking and climbing to the 2nd rappel point 20m (right) in a large gravel bed --> here the canyon opens --> continue walking and climbing to the 2nd rappel point 20m (right) in a large gravel bed.) in a large gravel bed --> here the canyon opens up --> after a short section of walking and easy climbing you come to a very open passage with sloping large slabs of rock --> in a slight walking passages you overcome a chaos of rocks (inflow from the right) --> at the exit of the large boulders you come to a rappel point with approx. 10m (right) --> continue walking and climbing over some steps and rocks again until you come to a small waterfall on the left (left). waterfall on the left (left tributary of the Rio Alba) --> longer walking passages --> short downclimb approx. 5m --> beautiful striking point with high rock face and incised limestone rock which you walk around and downclimb on the left --> here the canyon makes a 90° left turn --> after a short time you come to an impressive cascade --> here you walk on a ledge (left) to a belay --> downclimb to a stand --> after a short time you come to an impressive cascade --> here you walk on a ledge (left) to a stand --> downclimb to the left (right).) to a stance --> rappel 15m --> the next rappel follows immediately approx. 10m to the right in the course of the water --> walk to the next waterfall on the left --> after a short shower you can take off your neoprene --> from here you walk along a very wide streambed for approx. 30min. to the bridge --> get off right at the shuttle car (approx. 310m).

20-30 minütiger Marsch im breiten, schottrigen Bachbett. Vor der Brücke aus dem Bachbett aussteigen.
