En el final del aparcamiento, nos metemos por el túnel (conducto de canalizaciones de agua) continuamos la senda, tendremos que pasar hasta 3 túneles, después del último túnel, a unos 150 m nos encontramos a la izquierda la entrada al barranco, Esta senda teine algunos escalones de hierro y clavijas en el suelo. Comienza en una zona con poca corriente, a pocos metros tendremos los primeros toboganes que van por la vena principal del río. Este nos llevará al caos de bloques, en el margen derecho tenemos la lavadora, (tobogan con rebufo) y punto de peligro del descenso. Siendo este evitable por el lado izquierdo, si no se quiere realizar). Seguidamente nos deja en las inmediaciones de la cascada donde la evitaremos por el margen izquierdo, con el único salto obligatorio de todo el descenso. Una vez salvada la cascada por el margen derecho nos tendremos que salir del cauce a buscar los saltos. El tramo final del barranco es un estrecho donde el agua nos arrastrará hasta el Tranco de las Olas, una amplia poza de baño donde hay unas clavijas de hierro en el lado derecho que nos darán acceso a los últimos y más altos saltos del recorrido.

Desde el Tranco de las Olas, en el margen izquierdo del barranco cogemos una senda que nos llevará al camino de acceso, y así desandar el camino que hicimos en la aproximación.
