Dos tramos, el primero de carácter abierto y repleto de resaltes, destrepes y cascadas, y el segundo, más excavado, concentra la mayor parte de dificultades, destrepes, cascadas, destacando el rápel de mayor longitud, con pasamanos opcional. El descenso es relativamente corto, aunque el abundante caudal prácticamente durante todo el año lo hace interesante. Se trata de un descenso interesante y bonito en el ambiente y paisaje típico pirenaico. Al ser un descenso corto, existe la opción de seguir remontando por el camino de acceso, hasta el Barranco de Literola superior y descender los dos tramos alargando la jornada un poquito más.

Two sections, the first one is open and full of ledges, cliffs and waterfalls, and the second one, more excavated, concentrates most of the difficulties, cliffs, waterfalls, highlighting the longest rappel, with optional handrail. The descent is relatively short, although the abundant flow practically all year round makes it interesting. It is an interesting and beautiful descent in a typical Pyrenean environment and landscape. As it is a short descent, there is the option of continuing up the access road to the upper Literola ravine and descending the two sections, lengthening the day a little more.

Llegando a Benasque, continuamos hacia el norte dirección Baños y Hospital de Benasque. A la altura de los Baños de Benasque hay un puente con el cartel de Barranco de Literola. Aparcamos en la explanada anterior o posterior al puente.

Arriving in Benasque, we continue north towards Baños and Hospital de Benasque. At the height of the Baños de Benasque there is a bridge with the sign Barranco de Literola. We park in the esplanade before or after the bridge.

Andamos 20m por la carretera y a la izda sale una senda marcada. Subimos por esa senda hasta que se acaba el bosque y empiezan los prados, al poco veremos el acceso al barranco a la izda.

Walk 20m along the road and to the left is a marked path. We go up this path until the forest ends and the meadows begin, soon we will see the access to the ravine on the left.

Descenso alpino, con buen ambiente, mucho agua y bastante abierto en su primera parte. La segunda es más cerrada. Los rápeles están muy bien equipados, todos ellos con instalación por fuera del activo, esto no implica que nos relajemos. En el último rápel hay que tener cuidado con el bloque empotrado que hay en la recepción.

Alpine descent, with good atmosphere, lots of water and quite open in the first part. The second part is more closed. The rappels are very well equipped, all of them with installation outside the active, this does not imply that we relax. On the last rappel you have to be careful with the embedded block at the reception.
