Situación Priego de Córdoba Debemos llegar a Priego de Córdoba Situación del barranco Por la carretera de Priego de Córdoba a Carcabuey (A339), en el km22. Hay una pista a la derecha donde podemos aparcar, justo antes del puente.

Acceso a Genilla Podemos rapelar desde el puente o cruzar la carretera dirección sur (remontando el rio) entre la casa y el cortado del río hasta encontrar un sendero empinado que baja a una represa.

Access to Genilla We can rappel from the bridge or cross the road heading south (up the river) between the house and the river cut to find a steep path down to a dam.

Empezamos en la presa, recorremos unos 150m de rio debajo del puente y vemos una escapatoria (o acceso) a dcha que nos lleva al coche. Seguido llegamos al rápel largo de 15m por medio de la cascada. Después tenemos un rapel\destrepe de 8m que se puede hacer tobogán e incluso saltar si el caudal lo permite. Finalmente otros dos pequeños rápeles para llegar a la presa de 7m desde la cual salimos

We start at the dam, walk about 150m of river under the bridge and see a loophole (or access) to the right that leads us to the car. Then we reach the long rappel of 15m through the middle of the waterfall. Then we have a rappel of 8m that can be made slide and even jump if the flow allows it. Finally two other small rappels to reach the dam of 7m from which we leave.

Tras la presa encontramos un camino a la izda que nos llevará a la carretera.

After the dam we find a path on the left that will lead us to the road.

Bajo el puente a la derecha o el último rápel de 5m a la izquierda.

Under the bridge on the right or the last 5m rappel on the left.
