Es un sencillo y estético descenso, aunque algo largo y con tramos de poco interés, en donde encontraremos muchísimos restos de la antigua actividad minera de la zona. El punto fuerte del descenso es el largo R60 con el que terminamos el barranco. Hay quienes aparcan en la Rodonella, remontan por el GR para luego bajar por encima de los 3 últimos rápeles

Por la C16 desde Berga a Puigcerda. Pasaremos Cercs y en la Rodonella podremos dejar el coche de retorno. Accesos Bcos Sant Corneli Continuaremos y antes del p.k. 108 tenemos el desvío a la izquierda a St Josep y St Cornelli por la BV4025, durante 5kms por esta carretera para desviarnos a la izquierda a Fígols. Pasaremos estas casa y continuaremos hasta una curva muy cerrada de izquierdas que tiene una pista de frente y un poste indicador con los PRs de la zona (1,5 kms desde la BV4025). Nos meteremos por la pista en dirección al Torrent de la Fumanya durante 700m para llegar a una curva de derechas y otra pista en peor estado de frente, nos meteremos para aparcar al lado de los restos de construcciones.

By the C16 from Berga to Puigcerda. We will pass Cercs and in Rodonella we can leave the car to return. Access Bcos Sant Corneli We will continue and before p.k. 108 we have the detour to the left to St Josep and St Cornelli by the BV4025, for 5kms on this road to turn left to Fígols. We will pass these houses and continue until a very sharp left curve that has a track in front and a signpost with the PRs of the area (1.5 kms from the BV4025). We will get on the track towards the Torrent de la Fumanya for 700m to reach a right curve and another track in worse condition in front, we will get to park next to the remains of buildings.

Seguiremos la pista hasta que cruza el cauce, casi 1km

We will follow the track until it crosses the riverbed, almost 1km.

Nada más entrar 2 rápeles, luego una zona de andar con algún destrepe para llegar a otros 2 rápeles muy cortitos, casi destrepables. Seguiremos por otra zona de andar hasta llegar a un pequeño caos y tras él se cierra un poco el barranco y llegamos a la gran vertical. Un pequeño rápel, seguido de otro que alargaremos hasta la cabecera del R60 para ir con seguridad.

As soon as we enter 2 rappels, then a walking area with some climbing to reach another 2 very short rappels, almost climbable. We will continue through another walking area until we reach a small chaos and after it the canyon closes a little and we reach the great vertical. A small rappel, followed by another that we will extend to the head of the R60 to go safely.

Tras el R60, al poco se cruza con nosotros el GR. * Si hemos ido con un solo coche remontaremos por el GR (izq) dirección Fígols, al llegar al carreterín lo tomaremos a la izquierda para buscar la curva en la que nos desviamos hacia el PR de Fumanya. * Si hemos ido con dos coches, seguiremos el GR (der) a la Rodonella.

After the R60, soon the GR crosses with us. * If we have gone with only one car, we will go up the GR (left) towards Fígols, when we reach the road we will take it to the left to look for the curve where we turn off towards the PR of Fumanya. * If we have gone with two cars, we will follow the GR (right) to Rodonella.

En todo el recorrido salvo la parte final. Incluso podremos destrepar los primeros rápeles por el bosque
