Situándonos en Ainsa (N260), cogeremos la A138 dirección Francia por el túnel de Bielsa. A los pocos kilómetros pasaremos por Labuerda y en el pk57 llegamos a Escalona. Cogemos el desvío por el cañón de Añisclo hacia Fanlo por la HU631, poco antes de llegar a Nerín tendremos un puente sobre el río y un desvío a la derecha a Sescué, si tenemos dos coches el de retorno lo dejamos aquí o en la pista de Sescué a la altura del barranco (150m) Con el coche de acceso seguimos por la carretera y nos metemos a Nerín, justo antes de entrar al pueblo tenemos de frente la subida a la pista de esquí de fondo, aquí viene a parar el GR por si tenemos un solo coche puede ser buen sitio para aparcar. Si no, seguiremos subiendo con el coche hasta la ermita y aparcamos por allí justo antes de la senda al pico Mondoto (impresionante mirador sobre el cañón de Añisclo)

We are located in Ainsa (N260), we will take the A138 towards France through the Bielsa tunnel. After a few kilometers we will pass through Labuerda and at pk57 we arrive at Escalona. We take the detour through the Añisclo canyon towards Fanlo on the HU631, shortly before reaching Nerín we will have a bridge over the river and a detour to the right to Sescué, if we have two cars we leave the return car here or on the Sescué track at the height of the ravine (150m). With the access car we continue along the road and we get into Nerín, just before entering the village we have in front of us the ascent to the cross-country skiing track, here comes to stop the GR if we have only one car can be a good place to park. If not, we will continue climbing with the car to the hermitage and park there just before the path to the Mondoto peak (impressive viewpoint over the canyon of Añisclo).

La senda al pico Mondoto sale unos 30m después de la ermita, sale hacia la derecha (dirección NE) cogiendo altura rápidamente por las raídas laderas sur. Cruzaremos un pequeño barranquito y un rato después, cuando estemos bajo el pico la Estiva y el Mondoto a la derecha, atravesaremos el barranco Ballatar.

The path to the Mondoto peak leaves about 30m after the chapel, goes to the right (NE direction) quickly gaining height by the ragged southern slopes. We will cross a small ravine and a while later, when we are under the Estiva peak and Mondoto on the right, we will cross the Ballatar ravine.

Tendremos que seguir andando casi 10 min por el cauce hasta que empecemos con los resaltes. Es un barranco bastante abierto por lo que podremos escapar en muchos puntos y algunos de los rápeles los podremos destrepar

Dos opciones, en el puente Ballatar ir a la derecha por el GR hasta Nerín en caso de tener un solo coche. O seguir por el cauce hasta la pista de Sescué
