Acceso aparcamiento Isard Llegamos a Saint Girons por la D117 y antes de cruzar el puente sobre el rio Le Lez, en la rotonda giramos a la derecha por la D618 a Castillon-en-Couserans. Acceso barrancos Isard, Araing y Pugues Continuamos por la D4 hacia Bordes s/Lez y lo atravesamos hacia Sentein, seguimos un par de kilómetros por la D4 hasta Le Pont. Aquí giramos a la derecha (cartel de Etang de l'Araing) al aparcamiento de Freychendech.

Access to Isard parking lot We arrive at Saint Girons on the D117 and before crossing the bridge over the Le Lez river, at the traffic circle we turn right on the D618 to Castillon-en-Couserans. Access to Isard, Araing and Pugues ravines Continue on the D4 towards Bordes s/Lez and cross it towards Sentein, continue a couple of kilometers on the D4 to Le Pont. Here we turn right (sign Etang de l'Araing) to the parking of Freychendech.

Aproximación barrancos Isard, Araing y Pugues Cogemos la senda que discurre por la derecha orográfica del Isard y sube hacia el Etang de l'Araing. Llegamos al desvío que lleva a la capilla a la derecha (hay un puente/pasarela), cruzamos el río por aquí. Pasamos la capilla y al llegar a la pasarela continuamos por la derecha hacia el refugio. Seguimos al oeste hacia el arroyo de Pugues y cogemos una senda a la derecha que dejaremos al poco para subir por el bosque. Al salir, subimos por la izda a encontrar una senda que nos lleva hasta las cascadas. Podemos entrar por aquí o seguir subiendo hasta la zona engorgada que se distingue muy fácilmente por su color amarillento-naranja (dado por el hierro)

Approach to the Isard, Araing and Pugues ravines We take the path that runs along the orographic right of the Isard and climbs towards the Etang de l'Araing. We arrive at the detour that leads to the chapel on the right (there is a bridge / footbridge), we cross the river here. We pass the chapel and when we reach the footbridge we continue to the right towards the refuge. We continue west towards the stream of Pugues and take a path on the right that we will leave soon to climb through the forest. At the exit, we climb to the left to find a path that takes us to the waterfalls. We can enter here or continue climbing up to the fattened area that is easily distinguished by its yellowish-orange color (given by the iron).

La primera zona es una gorga ferruginosa con paredones altos y estrechos. Pequeños destrepes para practicar oposición. Segunda zona de cascadas largas que sin mucho caudal son muy simples por ser tendidas. Llegamos a una zona no equipada que hay que evitar por el sendero de la izquierda y entramos en la última parte con pequeñas cascadas.

The first zone is a ferruginous gorge with high and narrow walls. Small slopes for practicing opposition. Second zone of long waterfalls that without much flow are very simple for being stretched. We arrive at an unequipped zone that we must avoid by the path on the left and we enter the last part with small waterfalls.

En la 1ª zona nada. Luego es bastante abierto y se pueden buscar escapes a la izda
