1. Puente Río escabas. En la carretera que nos lleva de Fuertescusa a Poyatos (CUV-9031) a la altura del camping la serranía coger la carretera que sale a la derecha (Dirección Tragacete), a unos 3km aproximádamente nos encontramos el puente y un par de aparcamientos, donde dejaremos uno de los coches. 2. Aparcamiento Cabecera. Desde el pueblo de Poyatos por la CUV-9031 dirección Beteta a unos 2,5 antes de una curva sale un camino a la derecha. Ahí dejaremos el coche.

1. Rio Escabas Bridge. On the road that takes us from Fuertescusa to Poyatos (CUV-9031) at the height of the camping the serranía take the road that goes to the right (Tragacete direction), about 3km approximately we find the bridge and a couple of parking lots, where we will leave one of the cars. 2. Parking Cabecera. From the village of Poyatos on the CUV-9031 towards Beteta about 2.5 km before a curve there is a road to the right. There we will leave the car.

1. Con combinación de coches (Desde aparcamiento de cabecera). Seguimos por la pista que nos llevará directamente al cauce del arroyo de la dehesa. 2. Sin combinación de coches (Desde el puente) por la carretera donde hemos venido, hay que buscar una pequeña senda poco marcada a mano derecha y asciendo haciendo Z hasta la cima de la vertiente Quebrada. Luego nos encontraremos una pista cómoda y marcada hasta el comienzo del barranco. (Ver track)

1. With car combination (From the parking lot at the head of the trail). We continue along the track that will take us directly to the bed of the stream of the pasture. 2. Without combination of cars (From the bridge) by the road where we have come, we must look for a small path little marked on the right hand side and ascending doing Z until the top of the Quebrada slope. Then we will find a comfortable and marked track up to the beginning of the ravine (See track).

La primera parte del descenso suele estar seca y de caracter encañonado, hasta que las pequeñas surgencias empiezan a aportar agua al barranco. La segunda parte del barranco se torna un cañon de caracter abierto. Tras el rápel de 20m se pueden seguir caminos paralelos al cauce.

The first part of the descent is usually dry and canyon-like, until small springs begin to bring water to the canyon. The second part of the canyon becomes an open canyon. After the 20m rappel you can follow paths parallel to the riverbed.

Tras el último rápel en la presa, continuar el cauce y en 5 min estaremos en el puente donde habremos dejado el coche.
