Debemos situarnos en Porté-Puymorens. Llegaremos por la N20 de Foix-Tarascon o desde Puigcerdá. Aparcamos en el pueblo el coche de retorno (o si solo vamos a hacer la parte inferior), lo más cerca posible al puente sobre en río a la salida del pueblo. Seguiremos con el coche de acceso hacia el col y aparcamos allí arriba, en el aparcamiento.

We must be located in Porté-Puymorens. We will arrive by the N20 from Foix-Tarascon or from Puigcerdá. We park in the village the return car (or if we are only going to do the lower part), as close as possible to the bridge over the river at the exit of the village. We will continue with the access car towards the col and park up there, in the parking lot.

Cruzamos la carretera y salimos por la ladera hacia arriba unos 50m para encontrar una pista que sale a la derecha (se dirige al E). Nos meteremos por esta pista (en el maps lo encontraréis como chemine de Eugéne), que nos lleva a la cabaña de Cortal Rossó, la pasaremos, ahora ya girando hacia el N-NE. Cuando ya la pista encara hacia el N, se acerca mucho al cauce del arroyo , a una altura de 2150m, momento para acceder al cauce

Cross the road and go up the slope about 50m to find a track that goes to the right (heading E). We will get on this track (on the maps you will find it as chemine de Eugéne), which leads to the hut of Cortal Rossó, we will pass it, now turning to the N-NE. When the track faces N, it gets very close to the bed of the stream, at an altitude of 2150m, time to access the riverbed.

La parte superior muy alpina, abierta, con nieve hasta bien entrado el verano y 4 rápeles (3 de ellos naturales) La parte media con una zona encajonada y peligrosa con caudales elevados, solo 2 rápeles La parte inferior, más conocida, sin grandes complejidades, un descenso entretenido y con multitud de rápeles de todas las entidades, hasta 20m. Algún rápel se puede evitar

The upper part is very alpine, open, with snow until well into the summer and 4 rappels (3 of them natural). The middle part with a boxed and dangerous area with high flows, only 2 rappels. The lower part, more known, without great complexities, an entertaining descent and with a multitude of rappels of all the entities, up to 20m. Some rappels can be avoided.

Se llega al segundo puente, justo a la salida del pueblo, salimos por la izquierda a la carretera y andamos hasta el aparcamiento

You reach the second bridge, just at the exit of the village, turn left onto the road and walk to the parking lot.
