Para llegar hasta Guadalest cogeremos la CV-70 en Benidorm o Alcoy. Bcos Racó Figuera y Font Major Cogeremos el desvío al pantano y bajaremos a la presa, la cruzamos y en la primera curva cerrada de izquierdas cruzamos el barranco de Font Major. Justo antes de la siguiente curva cerrada de izquierdas (Bco Raco Figuera) tenemos sitio para aparcar. Con el coche de acceso seguiremos por esta carretera hacia la cola del embalse, llegaremos a un cruce en donde marca “presa Guadalest 3.8”, aquí cogeremos la carreterilla que sale a la derecha, el conocido como “Cami de Castells”, intentaremos subir con el coche por esta pista hasta el collado superior. En el collado encontraremos una bifurcación con tres pistas, iremos por la derecha PR CV 150 / Font dels Teixos. Por esta pista unos 2.6kms hasta un colladito con una caseta a la derecha y una pista medio perdida a la derecha. Aquí aparcamos.

To get to Guadalest take the CV-70 in Benidorm or Alcoy. Racó Figuera and Font Major Banks We will take the detour to the reservoir and go down to the dam, cross it and at the first sharp left turn we cross the Font Major ravine. Just before the next sharp left turn (Bco Raco Figuera) we have room to park. With the access car we will continue along this road towards the tail of the reservoir, we will arrive at a crossroads where it marks "presa Guadalest 3.8", here we will take the small road that goes to the right, known as "Cami de Castells", we will try to climb with the car on this track to the upper pass. In the pass we will find a fork with three tracks, we will go to the right PR CV 150 / Font dels Teixos. Along this track about 2.6kms to a small pass with a hut on the right and a half lost track on the right. Here we park.

Acceso Racó Figuera y Font Major Desde el aparcamiento superior cogeremos la pista casi perdida, dejaremos la primera vaguada a nuestra derecha (Racó de la Figuera). Continuamos por los restos de la senda hasta el colladito que vemos de frente que separa ambas cuencas, una vez tras pasado solo nos queda bajar hacia el cauce. Al llegar a un gran bolo estaremos cerca de la fuente (suele tener agua) y el comienzo del barranco. Desde el inferior deberíamos coger la Cañada Real que nos remonta hacia la cabecera de la Font Major.

Access Racó Figuera and Font Major From the upper parking we will take the track almost lost, we will leave the first watercourse on our right (Racó de la Figuera). We continue along the remains of the path to the small hill that we see in front of us that separates the two basins, once we have passed it, we can only go down to the riverbed. Upon reaching a large boulder we will be near the source (usually has water) and the beginning of the ravine. From the bottom we should take the Cañada Real that takes us back to the head of the Font Major.

Una primera parte más vertical, se suceden los rápeles/destrepes y los caos de rocas. Tras esta primera parte se va abriendo un poco el barranco y tenemos un par de escapes a la derecha a la altura del R13. Desde aquí perdemos altura, encontramos más vestido el descenso y una zona de bancales antes de los últimos rápeles

The first part is more vertical, with a succession of rappels/drops and rock chaos. After this first part, the canyon opens up a bit and we have a couple of escapes to the right at R13. From here we lose height, we find more dressed the descent and an area of terraces before the last rappels.

A la altura de R13 a la derecha a la Cañada de subida. Pasado el R15 a la izquierda por los bancales hacia el Rastell a coger la senda que sube desde la carretera por este lado
