Tenemos que llegar a Cómpeta. Para ello si vamos desde Málaga nos desviamos a Algarrobo por la A7206 y la seguimos hasta Cómpeta. Si vamos desde Nerja nos desviamos pasado Torrox por la A7207 hasta Cómpeta. Una vez en el pueblo debemos ir dirección Casa de la Mina y al Puerto del Collado, desde este puerto seguiremos la pista de la derecha que va a media ladera hacia el “Hotel Casa Mina”. En el Hotel, cogeremos la pista de la derecha que baja a la “Fabrica de la Luz” y aquí dejamos el coche de retorno (puede que esta pista no esté en buen estado) Con el otro coche seguiremos dirección Fuente Juan Rojo, la dejaremos atrás y llegaremos al siguiente arroyo junto al cortijo de Daire, es el arroyo de Magadillos .

La parte del arroyo Magadillos está completamente llena de maleza y zarzas. El arroyo moreno sí que es más interesante pero por su magnífica cascada, y la parte final hasta la Fábrica de Luz es un paseo por el río.

Si hemos podido aparcar en la fábrica el retorno es sencillo, si no hay que remontar por la pista hasta donde hayamos dejado el coche
