Desde Tarbes vamos dirección Lourdes por la N21. Luego continuaremos dirección Gavarnie-Gedre por la D821. Continuaremos dirección Gavarnie-Gedre por la D921 hasta Gédre y de aquí a Gavarnie. Casi a la entrada del pueblo tenemos un desvío a la derecha hacia las pistas. Lo cogemos y aparcamos el coche de retorno por aquí Seguimos hacia las pistas y el Col de Tentes y aparcamos el coche de acceso.

From Tarbes we head towards Lourdes on the N21. Then we continue towards Gavarnie-Gedre on the D821. Continue towards Gavarnie-Gedre on the D921 to Gédre and from here to Gavarnie. Almost at the entrance of the village we have a detour to the right towards the slopes. We take it and park the car back here. We continue towards the slopes and the Col de Tentes and park the access car.

Sin combinación de coches: Desde Gavarnie subiremos al Col de Boucharo siguiendo el HRP por Plateau de Bellevue Con combinación de coches: Desde el Col de Tentes llegaremos al Col de Boucharo Desde aquí en ambas opciones nos dirigimos a Sarradets, pasamos la brecha de Roland y giramos a la izquierda hacia el paso de los Sarrios. Buscaremos el cuello de los Sarrios bajo el caso y subiremos a las fajas bajo la Torre de Marboré. Desde aquí por dichas fajas buscaremos el collado de la cascada para pasar al lado francés al glaciar de la Espalda. En este punto empezamos a bajar en diagonal en busca del glaciar de la cascada y de su desagüe. A la izquierda de dicho desagüe tenemos dos clavijas para rapelar la primera faja, un poco después la segunda faja y llegamos a la gran Cascada de Gavarnie

No combination of cars: From Gavarnie we will climb the Col de Boucharo following the HRP via Plateau de Bellevue. With car combination: From Col de Tentes we reach Col de Boucharo. From here in both options we head to Sarradets, pass the Roland gap and turn left towards the Sarrios pass. We will look for the neck of the Sarrios under the case and climb to the belts under the Torre de Marboré. From here through these belts we will look for the pass of the waterfall to pass to the French side to the Espalda glacier. At this point we begin to descend diagonally in search of the glacier of the waterfall and its drainage. To the left of this drainage we have two pegs to rappel the first girdle, a little later the second girdle and we arrive at the great Cascade de Gavarnie.

Descenso vertical, comprometido por el viento, el agua que nos viene desde la cascada y/o el frío. Salvo días muy calmados de verano tendremos que tener en cuenta estas circunstancias.
