Llegamos a Lanestosa por la N629, en el pk 61,2 en un giro con unas casas tenemos el desvío a Calera del Prado. Seguimos hasta la aldea y aparcamos en la plaza o al lado de la iglesia el coche de retorno. El coche de acceso por la carretera de aldeacueva casi 4kms hasta un cruce tras una casa que empieza un bosque. Aquí cogemos la pista que sale a la derecha y va ganando altura, al poco otro cruce a la derecha y más tarde otro a la derecha nos meten en el valle del barranco. A modo de mirador seguiremos por la pista que desciende hasta la entrada al arroyo de Pozo Negro donde aparcamos

We arrived at Lanestosa by the N629, in the pk 61.2 in a turn with some houses we have the detour to Calera del Prado. We continue to the village and park in the square or next to the church the car back. The access car by the road of aldeacueva almost 4kms to a crossroads behind a house that begins a forest. Here we take the track that goes to the right and is gaining height, soon another crossroads to the right and later another to the right put us in the valley of the ravine. As a viewpoint we will continue along the track that descends to the entrance to the stream of Pozo Negro where we park.

Barrancos del río Calera y sus accesos Cruzamos el arroyo por la presa y subimos por una senda, hacia el barranco Cuesta del Hoyo, hasta la chabola en ruinas. Desde aquí seguimos la pista al oeste y en kilómetro y poco estamos en el barranco. Cuidado de no pasarnos y llegar hasta Ezpeleta.

Calera river ravines and its accesses We cross the stream by the dam and go up a path, towards the Cuesta del Hoyo ravine, to the shack in ruins. From here we follow the track to the west and in a kilometer and a bit we are in the ravine. Be careful not to go too far and reach Ezpeleta.

Barranco abierto, en el que podremos escapar en todo momento, con dos zonas muy diferenciadas. La primera totalmente aérea con 5 rápeles para salvar casi 200m de desnivel. La segunda de resaltes y algún rápel sencillo.

Open canyon, in which we can escape at all times, with two very different areas. The first one totally aerial with 5 rappels to save almost 200m of unevenness. The second one has some projections and some simple rappels.

Tras los últimos resaltes el barranco confluye por la izda con Ezpeleta y al poco con Pozo Negro por la derecha. Aquí podemos seguir bajando el bco de Pozo Negro o echarnos a la derecha en busca de la senda que hay unos metros más arriba

After the last projections, the ravine joins Ezpeleta on the left and shortly after with Pozo Negro on the right. Here we can continue descending the Pozo Negro gully or turn right in search of the path a few meters higher up.
