Anfahrt (flussabwärts): Aus Norditalien kommend, zwischen Firenze und Rom, nehmen Sie die Ausfahrt Orte und fahren Sie in Richtung Terni. Gehen Sie unter dem Canyon hindurch und bei 1190 m biegen Sie rechts auf einen Pfad ab, der zur Hütte hinaufführt. Gehen Sie rechts weiter bis zum Grat oberhalb des Cavalli. Nach einigen Sprüngen und einem vermeidbaren Wasserfall RG gelangt man zum Kern des Themas. Die Wasserfälle reihen sich ohne Unterbrechung aneinander und bilden schöne Garben, wenn der Canyon fließt. Der Höhepunkt ist der 95 m lange, zweigeteilte Wasserfall mit einer glatten Wand. Der Wasserspiegel steigt mit der Ankunft des RD-Arms. Es folgt ein langwieriger Abschnitt, der im Winter eine Lawinengefahr darstellt und fast eine Dreiviertelstunde dauert. Erst am Ende wird der Canyon wieder enger und bietet Hindernisse, die den Abstieg auflockern, ohne originell zu sein. Keine Schlupflöcher im ersten Teil. Schwierige Ausweichmöglichkeiten zwischendurch.
