En la cara sur de Gredos, situándonos en el bonito pueblo de Mijares Por la AV901 en dirección al puerto de Mijares, encontraremos el área/merendero del Horcajo, unos metros antes una pista a la izquierda, para coches más o menos altos, que en 2,9 km, nos deja en un cruce de pistas donde se deja el vehículo.

On the south side of Gredos, we are located in the beautiful village of Mijares. On the AV901 towards the port of Mijares, we will find the area/merendero del Horcajo, a few meters before a track on the left, for cars more or less high, which in 2.9 km, leaves us at a crossroads where the vehicle is left.

Desde la zona de aparcamiento nos dirigimos atrás unos 150m. hasta una roca con el número 15, cerca sale una senda marcada con un hito de inicio y varios más durante nuestra aproximación, todo este tramo en subida. A los 600m., cruzamos un arroyo y después, subimos una gran pendiente de roca. Desde ahí ya en llano, avanzando ligeramente hacia la izda. atravesamos otro arroyo, y llegando al siguiente arroyo, en un bloque de roca está la primera instalación de nuestro barranco.

From the parking area we head back about 150m. to a rock with the number 15, near a path marked with a milestone start and several more during our approach, all this stretch uphill.
