Ausstiegsparkplatz: Von Tivat mit Fähre Richtung Herceg Novi bis zur Ortschaft Zelenika. Hier am Hafen vorbei und beim Market Primato (grau/rote Fassade) rechts abbiegen. Dann weiter Richtung Kuti. Die Straße auf der orographisch rechten Seite vom Fluss folgen. Dann rechts über die Brücke. Direkt nach der Brücke li abbiegen. Straßenverlauf folgen (am kleinen Elektrizitätshäuschen vorbei). Weiter links über eine kleine Brücke und beim Denkmal (mit Mauerumrundung). Wieder rechts abbiegen. Ab hier den Straßenverlauf bis zu den letzen Häusern folgen. Bei der großen Wiese neben der Schotterstraße rechts parken. Einstiegsparkplatz: Mit den zweiten PKW fährt man zurück zur Hauptstraße. Hier rechts durch den Tunnel bis zum großen Kreisverkehr in der Ortschaft Meljine. Beim Kreisverkehr rechts hoch. Nach 2,5 Km rechts Richtung Sasovići abbiegen (unscheinbarer Einfahrt). Man fährt links an der Kirche vorbei und folgt der schmalen Bergstraße für 5,5 Km bis zu einer kleinen Ausweiche auf ca. 500m (Einstiegsparkplatz).

Parking exit: From Tivat by ferry in the direction of Herceg Novi to the village of Zelenika. Pass the harbor and turn right at Market Primato (grey/red facade). Then continue in the direction of Kuti. Follow the road on the orographic right side of the river. Then turn right over the bridge. Turn left immediately after the bridge. Follow the road (past the small electricity house). Continue left over a small bridge and at the monument (with a wall around it). Turn right again. From here, follow the road to the last houses. Park on the right at the large meadow next to the gravel road. Parking entry: Take the second car back to the main road. Here turn right through the tunnel to the large traffic circle in the village of Meljine. At the traffic circle, turn right uphill. After 2.5 km, turn right towards Sasovići (inconspicuous entrance). Pass the church on the left and follow the narrow mountain road for 5.5 km until you reach a small detour about 500 m away (parking entry).

Von der kleinen Ausweiche (Parkplatz) auf ca. 500m folgt man der Straße ca. 40m Talwärts bis auf der rechten Straßenseite eine Steinmauervertiefung (Wasserschacht) sichtbar wird. Hier geht man links einen unscheinbaren Pfad, vorbei an Sträuchern, leicht abfallend in Richtung Meer. Nach einer offenen Stelle (Wiese) geht es nochmals links abwärts durch leichten Bewuchs (kleine Bäume) bis zum Bach auf ca. 430m.

From the small turn-off (parking lot) at approx. 500m, follow the road approx. 40m down the valley until a stone wall depression (water shaft) becomes visible on the right-hand side of the road. Here you take an inconspicuous path on the left, past bushes, slightly downhill towards the sea. After an open area (meadows), turn left again downhill through light vegetation (small trees) to the stream at approx. 430m.

Die Sopot ist offen und meist trocken. Bis auf den hohen 70m Abseiler hat man keine großen technischen Schwierigkeiten zu erwarten. Nach den ersten zwei Abseilstellen von 10 und 25m kommt ein kurzer Geh- und Abkletterabschnitt der direkt zur hohen Abseilstelle führt. Um sicher zum ausgesetzten Stand zu kommen wird am besten ein abziehbares Seilgeländer eingerichtet. Hat man kein 70m Seil, kann der 70m Abseiler auch unterteilt werden (ca. 25m + 45m). Den Zwischenstand unter dem Überhang zu erreichen ist nicht ganz leicht(rutschig und leichte Pendelarbeit nötig). Nach der hohen Stufe kommen noch einige unschwierige kleinere Abseilstellen unterbrochen von kurzen Geh- und Abkletterpassagen. Nach der letzten ca. 10m Abseilstelle rechts mit zwei Bohrhaken, kommt ein kurzer Gehabschnitt bis zu einem auffälligen großen Fels auf der rechten Seite (ca. 60m). Hier nicht mehr weiter den Bach folgen sondern links aussteigen.

The Sopot is open and mostly dry. Apart from the high 70m rappel, there are no major technical difficulties to be expected. After the first two abseils of 10 and 25m, there is a short walk and abseil section that leads directly to the high abseil point. To reach the exposed belay safely, it is best to set up a pull-off rope traverse. If you do not have a 70m rappel, the 70m rappel can also be divided (approx. 25m + 45m). Reaching the intermediate belay under the overhang is not easy (slippery and requires a little pendulum work). After the high step, there are a few less difficult smaller abseils interspersed with short walking and downclimbs. After the last approx. 10m abseil on the right with two bolts, there is a short section of walking to a conspicuous large rock on the right (approx. 60m). Do not follow the stream any further here but exit to the left.

Auf ca. 60m steigt man links aus dem Bach und folgt den unscheinbaren Pfad bis zu der Steinmauer vor dem Haus. Entlang der Mauer kommt man zum nächsten Haus mit der Asphaltstraße, die in Kürze zum Parkplatz führt.

After about 60m, turn left out of the stream and follow the inconspicuous path to the stone wall in front of the house. Along the wall you come to the next house with the asphalt road, which soon leads to the parking lot.
