Situándonos en Berga por la C16 o en Solsona. En ambos casos hay que coger la C26 que las une. A la altura de Avià, en el p.k. 142,4, hay un giro en la carretera con un puente sobre el Bellús, con un desvío hacia “Cal Grane”. Iremos por aquí hasta que se acaba el asfaltado. Al lado tendremos un represamiento del río y un ensanchamiento donde aparcar. Si tenemos coche alto podremos seguir un poco más por la pista y hacer un par de curvas pero no merece mucho la pena. Otra opción sería ir por la BV4241 dirección Capolat y al poco desviarnos hacia el Grau y aparcar en la parte alta del barranco. Para combinar coches no es demasiado interesante puesto que la aproximación no es tan larga y además merece la pena el sendero.

We are located in Berga on the C16 or in Solsona. In both cases you have to take the C26 that joins them. At the height of Avià, in the p.k. 142,4, there is a turn in the road with a bridge over the Bellús, with a detour to "Cal Grane". We will go along this road until the asphalted road ends. Next to it we will have a damming of the river and a widening where to park. If we have a tall car we can continue a little further along the track and make a couple of curves but it is not worth much. Another option would be to take the BV4241 towards Capolat and then turn off towards El Grau and park at the top of the ravine. To combine cars is not too interesting since the approach is not so long and also worth the trail.

Seguiremos por la pista paralela al Bellús, más adelante se queda en sendero que sigue en la misma dirección noroeste hacia el Grau. Se acercará al arroyo y lo cruza por la zona de la cascada para pasar a la derecha orográfica donde encontramos otra pista que nos sube al Grau. Poco antes de llegar, al cruzar un afluente veremos la instalación para rapelar al arroyo.

We will continue along the track parallel to the Bellús, further on it becomes a path that continues in the same northwest direction towards the Grau. It will approach the stream and crosses the waterfall area to move to the orographic right where we find another track that takes us up to the Grau. Shortly before arriving, when crossing a tributary we will see the facility to rappel to the stream.

El primer rápel para acceder al río y otro algo más adelante destrepable desde un árbol seco. Nos dejan en una zona casi llana del río con unas ruínas antes de llegar a la cascada. Tras la cascada tendremos pequeños rápeles y destrepes para recorrer el resto del descenso. Si no queremos realizar la última parte (solo un rápel de 12m) podremos salir por el sendero que cruza el río

The first rappel to access the river and another one a little further on that can be climbed from a dry tree. They leave us in an almost flat area of the river with some ruins before reaching the waterfall. After the waterfall we will have small abseilings and destrepes to cross the rest of the descent. If we do not want to do the last part (only a 12m rappel) we can leave by the path that crosses the river.
