Por la N260 hasta Sort, una vez allí nos desviamos por la C13 hacia Llavorsi. En Llavorsí, justo a la entrada, tras el puente giraremos a la derecha por la L504 a Alins/Ribera de Cardós/Tavascán siguiendo el río Cardós, valle amplio y magnífico. A los casi 4kms tendremos una rotonda, seguiremos de frente hacia Alins/Areu por la L510 (hacia la Vall Ferrera). Por este tramo de carretera nos iremos adentrando entre las altas cumbres buscando los hermosos pueblos de la Vall Ferrera, Araós, Alins, Areu… En este caso al llegar a Araós entraremos al pueblo y aparcaremos.

By the N260 to Sort, once there we turn off on the C13 to Llavorsi. In Llavorsí, just at the entrance, after the bridge we turn right onto the L504 to Alins/Ribera de Cardós/Tavascán following the river Cardós, a wide and magnificent valley. After almost 4kms we will have a traffic circle, we will continue straight on towards Alins/Areu on the L510 (towards Vall Ferrera). Along this stretch of road we will go into the high peaks looking for the beautiful villages of the Vall Ferrera, Araós, Alins, Areu... In this case when we reach Araós we will enter the village and park.

Desde la plaza de entrada giramos a la izquierda por una pista que se dirige hacía atrás, justo al río Sant Francesc. A los 100m dejamos la pista por una senda a la derecha que remonta por la montaña por la izquierda orográfica del río. Zigzagueando subiremos por esta bonita ladera acercándonos cada vez más al cauce para en los últimos 500m ir casi rectos hasta un punto en el que el sendero queda al lado del río, momento para acceder.

From the entrance square turn left onto a track that heads backwards, right to the river Sant Francesc. After 100m we leave the track for a path on the right that goes up the mountain on the orographic left of the river. Zigzagging up this beautiful slope getting closer and closer to the riverbed for the last 500m to go almost straight to a point where the path is next to the river, time to access.

Descenso abierto, resbaladizo y con verticales bien formadas e interesantes. En verano pierde interés al quedarse casi sin agua

Open, slippery descent with well-formed and interesting verticals. In summer it loses interest as it almost runs out of water.

Al llegar a la carretera salimos por la derecha, cogeremos la carretera a la derecha para subir al pueblo de Araós
