Summary:
Open canyon surrounded by beech forest. Mossy granite riverbed. The finale in four back to back features is super nice. The walk from the base of these down to the car is pretty, and entertaining.

Access:

Approach (30 min):
From Tadmor Saddle, follow the forestry road until your car reaches its limits. On foot, continue until you find the open turn-around, and walk down to the off-take weir. Cross below the weir, and find a rough footpad on the true right side of the river. Around 720m, look for flagging tape on the right, and follow down to the river.
Tour (1 h 30):
While just a short trip, its quite high value and very beautiful. The anchors are very well maintained and provide lots of options for roping practice. After the final abseil the real Hope River joins, and the flow increases significantly. This section has a few small jumps and interesting downclimbs.
Return (10 min):
When you reach the weir again, return how you arrived.

The tape can be a little tricky to spot on the walk in. We jumped the first main abseil! The final abseil we made a guided rapel off of a tree which was pretty fun. The walk down to the weir is pretty, with a few interesting parts.
