Debemos situarnos en Igueste, al lado de Candelaria Subiremos por la calle Ajoreña (ascendente), luego calle Maja, etc, siguiendo la línea del barranco a nuestra izquierda. Por la pista que sale por la derecha unos 800m hasta que tengamos el canal de Araca por nuestra izquierda. Nos meteremos por aquí siguiendo el canal, a tramos iremos sobre él. Muchísimo cuidado puesto que está en desuso y se está rompiendo la cubierta. Pasaremos la zona del pasamanos, por donde el canal se estrecha y deberemos extremar la precaución, tras ese punto el canal desaparece y tenemos la instalación para descender al cauce.
