Desde Logroño tomaremos la N-111 hacia Soria; dejamos a la dcha el cruce que sube a Nieva de Cameros; seguimos por la N-111 poco más de 800 m; a la izda vemos un amplio claro del que sale un camino, donde dejaremos el vehículo de salida. Aparcamiento de acceso al tramo inferior. Desde Logroño tomaremos la N-111 hacia Soria; pasado Torrecilla de Cameros tomamos la LR-253 hacia Almarza. Tras un par de curvas veremos a la derecha una granja abandonada, y las estacas que indican una etapa del sendero romano del Iregua; dejaremos aquí un coche. Aparcamiento de acceso al tramo superior. Desde Logroño tomaremos la N-111 hacia Soria; pasado Torrecilla de Cameros tomamos la LR-253 hacia Almarza. Después tomaremos la LR-453 a Pinillos; unos metros antes del km 2, encontraremos un apartadero a la derecha, donde poder aparcar.

Upper part We follow a diffuse path towards the SW, which directs us towards the ravine; we advance with the same orientation, descending through the forest, along the most obvious paths, until we reach the riverbed.

Durante algo menos de 600 m el cauce no ofrece nada a resaltar; comienzan a aparecer algunas marmitas intercaladas por algún corto resalte. Generalmente, todo estará seco. Después, llegamos a otro resalte de unos 4 m que desemboca en una marmita con cierta profundidad; luego siguen más resaltes. Avanzamos alrededor de 1 km entre andar y pequeños resaltes; llegamos al puente que cruza el barranco por la Senda Romana del Iregua. Seguimos por el cauce y, rápidamente, aparecen dos resaltes destrepables de 3 m; llegamos a un R10 con agua en su base; proseguimos unos metros, algún resalte con agua, evitable; un pasillo con agua enlaza con el río Iregua, dónde termina el descenso.

For less than 600 m the riverbed does not offer anything to highlight; some marmitas begin to appear interspersed by some short projections. Generally, everything will be dry. Afterwards, we arrive at another 4-meter high bank that leads to a marmita with a certain depth; then there are more high banks. We advance for about 1 km between walking and small ledges; we arrive at the bridge that crosses the ravine by the Senda Romana del Iregua. We continue along the riverbed and, quickly, there are two 3-meter long, climbable ledges; we reach an R10 with water at its base; we continue for a few meters, some ledges with water, avoidable; a corridor with water connects with the Iregua River, where the descent ends.
