Un clásico, para gente con experiencia, de la zona de Bujaruelo. Lo tiene todo agua en cantidad, rápeles de todos los tipos, muy continuos, gran belleza de entorno y buenas cascadas. Típico barranco alpino de aguas frías y bastante resbaladizo. Tiene dos partes, la segunda, tras recibir el aporte del afluente principal el Grau, mucho mejor que la primera por su mayor caudalaje. Eso sí, casi todos los rápeles se pueden hacer por fuera.

Por la N260 hacia Broto, seguiremos hasta el desvío de Torla-Ordesa Al llegar a Torla seguir la carretera del Parque Nacional de Ordesa hasta el Puente de los Navarros, que es donde se encuentra la barrera de acceso al parque. Ahí coger la pista que sale a la izquierda y sube por el cauce del rio Ara hasta San Nicolás de Bujaruelo. Aparcar allí

On the N260 towards Broto, we will continue until the Torla-Ordesa detour. When you get to Torla, follow the Ordesa National Park road to Puente de los Navarros, which is where the access barrier to the park is located. There, take the track that goes to the left and goes up the Ara riverbed to San Nicolás de Bujaruelo. Park there

Saldremos para coger el GR, para ello hay que cruzar el puente de piedra y tomar el camino de la derecha, hacia Torla. Iremos por la izquierda orográfica del río Ara, al poco cruzamos el bco Escusaneta y llegamos a la cascada final del Gabieto. Aquí podremos evaluar el caudal. Unos metros antes sale un desvío a la izquierda, que en fuerte subida nos mete por el bosque (a ratos se puede perder la senda), hasta llegar a unos 1580m, justo donde el afluente Grau de Gabieto vierte sus aguas en nuestro barranco por la izquierda. Este es el punto de acceso para la parte inferior. Si queremos realizar la superior seguiremos subiendo hasta los 1750m, justo a la altura del circo, aquí podríamos subir un poco más para descender la cascada de 50m.

We will leave to take the GR, to do this we must cross the stone bridge and take the path to the right, towards Torla. We will go along the orographic left side of the Ara river, soon we cross the Escusaneta river and arrive at the final waterfall of the Gabieto. Here we will be able to evaluate the flow. A few meters before we take a detour to the left, which climbs steeply uphill through the forest (at times you can lose the path), until we reach about 1580m, just where the tributary Grau de Gabieto pours its waters into our ravine on the left. This is the access point for the lower part. If we want to do the upper part we will continue climbing up to 1750m, just at the height of the cirque, here we could climb a little more to descend the 50m waterfall.

Una parte superior con rápeles desde árboles para salvar un gran desnivel, incluso con algún destrepe delicado en el que podremos echar mano de la cuerda para asegurar, hasta llegar a la confluencia con el afluente. La parte inferior con más agua y alguna zona estrecha, más vertical y caudaloso nos deleitará con sus múltiples cascadas y destrepes sin fin hasta la conocida cascada que da al GR.

An upper part with rappels from trees to save a large gap, even with some delicate skill in which we can use the rope to secure, until you reach the confluence with the tributary. The lower part with more water and some narrow areas, more vertical and flowing, will delight us with its multiple waterfalls and endless adventures up to the well-known waterfall that leads to the GR.
