Por la N240 entre Jaca y Pamplona, justo al llegar a Puente de la Reina tenemos el desvío hacia el Valle de Hecho (A176). Atravesaremos el pueblo de Hecho y seguiremos subiendo hacia la Selva de Oza, donde aparcaremos el refugio de la Selva de Oza. Justo donde la carretera cruza el río. Podemos aparcar un coche justo a la salida del barranco en el aparcamiento del Puente de Sil. Junto a un pequeño refugio forestal y nos ahorramos 30 min de returno.

On the N240 between Jaca and Pamplona, just at Puente de la Reina we have the detour to Hecho Valley (A176). We will cross the village of Hecho and continue climbing towards the Selva de Oza, where we will park the Selva de Oza refuge. Just where the road crosses the river. We can park a car just at the exit of the ravine in the parking lot of Puente de Sil. Next to a small forest shelter and we save 30 minutes of returno.

Saldremos por el GR siguiendo las indicaciones de subida al Castillo de Acher, se mete hacia la parte superior del barranco de Espata y sube hasta un refugio forestal. Una vez allí arriba veremos ya el barranco al fondo. Tendremos que bajar por una zona bastante descompuesta hasta el cauce

We will leave by the GR following the indications of ascent to the Castle of Acher, it goes to the top of the Espata ravine and climbs up to a forest refuge. Once up there we will see the ravine in the background. We will have to go down through a fairly decomposed area to the riverbed.

Unos pequeños rápeles nos van acercando a las preciosas cascadas de 23m y 40m, tras esta tenemos un rápel arrampado de 25m y llegamos a una zona abierta sin interés. Dicen algunas guías que hay un sendero por la derecha que lleva hasta el GR. Una vez aquí podemos abandonar o seguimos por la parte inferior que nos llevará una hora más

Some small rappels bring us closer to the beautiful waterfalls of 23m and 40m, after this we have a 25m rappel and we reach an open area of no interest. Some guidebooks say that there is a path on the right that leads to the GR. Once here we can leave or continue along the lower part which will take us another hour.

Por el GR si no hacemos la parte inferior podemos bajar a la carretera por la izquierda, por la derecha iríamos al aparcamiento pero es largo\` Si hacemos la parte inferior, deberemos cruzar el río y subir a la carretera.

For the GR if we do not do the lower part we can go down to the road on the left, on the right we would go to the parking lot but it is long. If we do the lower part, we will have to cross the river and go up to the road.
