Debemos llegar a Fresneda, para ello en la A8 o N634, a la altura de Cabezón de la Sal, buscaremos el desvío de la CA180 dirección Cabuérniga, hasta llegar a Valle. Una vez en Valle cogeremos la CA280 dirección Reinosa hasta llegar a Fresneda. Sobrepasamos el pueblo y unos centenares de metros más adelante encontraremos una curva suave de izquierdas que tiene un carreterín a la derecha. Desde aquí sale una pista que remonta el arroyo de Valfría. Aparcamos el coche de retorno si también queremos hacer Valfría. Si no seguimos hacía arriba casi 2 kms hasta una curva cerrada a izquierdas sobre el arroyo del lobao. Aparcamos por aquí
We must arrive to Fresneda, for it in the A8 or N634, at the height of Cabezón de la Sal, we will look for the detour of the CA180 direction Cabuérniga, until arriving to Valle. Once in Valle, take the CA280 towards Reinosa until you reach Fresneda. We pass through the village and a few hundred meters ahead we will find a smooth left curve that has a small road on the right. From here there is a track that goes up the Valfría stream. We park the car to return if we also want to do Valfría. Otherwise we continue upwards for almost 2 kms until a sharp left curve on the stream of lobao. We park here

Seguimos la pista unos 200m hacía arriba hasta sobrepasar una choza. Bordeando su muro subimos hasta encontrarnos con un sendero de ganado que a media ladera se dirige a la cabecera del Lobao. A los 20min veremos que baja hacía el arroyo
We follow the track about 200m up until we pass a hut. Bordering its wall we ascend until we meet a cattle trail that goes halfway up the slope to the head of the Lobao. After 20min we will see that it descends towards the stream.

Sencillo descenso con siete rápeles de los cuales solo el de 30-35m puede representar algún problema para gente novel. Entorno muy estético y frondoso, casi siempre con agua salvo en verano si ha estado mucho tiempo sin llover
Simple descent with seven rappels of which only the one of 30-35m can represent a problem for beginners. Very aesthetic and lush environment, almost always with water except in summer if it has been a long time without rain.
