Debemos llegar hasta Yunquera, para ello, si vamos desde Marbella cogemos la A355 a Ojén. Pasamos este pueblo y al llegar a Monda giramos a la izquierda dirección Guaro por la A7100. Hasta el cruce con la A366 a Alozaina Si vamos desde Málaga debemos salir por la A357 dirección Cártama, hasta llegar a Zalea donde cogemos la A354. La seguiremos hasta Alozaina. Una vez en Alozaina continuamos por la A366 a Yuqueras. Al llegar al pueblo veremos el desvío a la izquierda al Rio Grande, bajaremos por esa carreterilla hasta el puente del río, aquí giramos a la izquierda y seguimos hasta la fábrica de la luz de San Pascual. Si quisiéramos ahorrarnos unos minutos de retorno, desde el collado, con el coche de retorno, en vez de bajar a la Central podemos ir por la pista de la izquierda, que será nuestro retorno, cerca de 1,5kms hasta un cruce de pistas en el que podremos aparcar a un lado.

If we would like to save a few minutes of return, from the hill, with the return car, instead of going down to the Central we can go down the track on the left, which will be our return, about 1.5kms to a crossroads where we can park to one side.

Por la pista, GR, paralela al a. de Zarzalones, son casi 3 kilómetros hasta llegar a unas curvas cerradas con el canal a nuestra izquierda. Veremos una pequeña represa, sitio del primer rápel

Remontaremos unos 100m del río Grande para salir a la derecha a una pista que nos sube a la pista reseñada en la que podemos aparcar. Si no hemos dejado aquí vehículo, deberemos andar hasta el collado y bajar a la central. Parece que hay otra opción, seguir por el río un poco más para ir a salir a un sendero por la izquierda , empedrado, que nos subiría a la pista de acceso
