Por la N260 hasta Sort, una vez allí nos desviamos por la C13 hacia Llavorsi. En Llavorsí, justo a la entrada, tras el puente giraremos a la derecha por la L504 a Alins/Ribera de Cardós/Tavascán siguiendo el río Cardós, valle amplio y magnífico. A los casi 4kms tendremos una rotonda, seguiremos por la izquierda hasta Tavascán. Atravesaremos el pueblo y seguiremos hacia la Vall de Cardós subiendo el río Lladorre hasta la represa de Montalto y aparcamos.

By the N260 to Sort, once there we turn off on the C13 to Llavorsi. In Llavorsí, just at the entrance, after the bridge we turn right onto the L504 to Alins/Ribera de Cardós/Tavascán following the river Cardós, a wide and magnificent valley. After almost 4kms we will have a traffic circle, we will continue on the left to Tavascan. Cross the village and continue towards the Vall de Cardós up the river Lladorre to the Montalto dam and park.

Seguiremos por el sendero del Pla de Boavi remontando el río Lladorre hasta llegar a un puente que lo cruza para subir al refugi de Broate (fin del descenso). En este punto tendremos el barranco Romedo a nuestra izquierda. Seguiremos por el sendero que sube al refugi de Broate, un senderito por el bosque que nos eleva por la ladera paralelos al río hasta una altura de casi los 1950, momento en el que el sendero se aproxima finalmente al río y accedemos al cauce.

We will continue along the path of Pla de Boavi going up the Lladorre river until we reach a bridge that crosses it to go up to the refuge of Broate (end of the descent). At this point we will have the Romedo ravine on our left. We will continue along the path that goes up to the Broate refuge, a small path through the forest that takes us up the slope parallel to the river up to an altitude of almost 1950, at which point the path finally approaches the river and we access the riverbed.

Aguas muy frías y suelo resbaladizo nos van a recibir en este impresionante marco. Rápeles largos de hasta 40m con buenos caudales, algunas pozas y un gran entorno de alta montaña. La primera parte menos engorgada, conforme nos acerquemos a la gran cascada de Broate, se irá cerrando. De aquí al final mucho más estrecho hasta llegar al puente.

Very cold waters and slippery ground will welcome us in this impressive setting. Long rappels of up to 40m with good flows, some pools and a great high mountain environment. The first less fattened part, as we approach the great waterfall of Broate, will close. From here to the end much narrower until we reach the bridge.
