Situándonos en Ulldemolins en la C242. Seguiremos por la C242 hacia La Granadella hasta el pk 26,5 en donde encontraremos una pista a la izquierda con sitio donde aparcar.

We are located in Ulldemolins on the C242. We will follow the C242 towards La Granadella until pk 26,5 where we will find a track on the left with a place to park.

Saldremos por la pista hacia el sur, hacia los cortados sobre el Montsant. Por la parte superior del cordal, por el campo de cultivo seguiremos hacia el sur hasta salir del campo de almendros y encontrar un sendero que se dirige al sur hasta bajar a una explanada sobre el congost de Fraguerau. Giraremos a la izquierda hacia el afluente derecho, no hay sendero en esta zona así que deberemos guiarnos por algún mojón y nuestra orientación. Buscaremos una zona con un solo gran pino que tiene un cordino para rapelar. Tras el primer rápel estamos en una repisa con una chapa para hacer un rápel de 6-7m con péndulo hacia la repisa izquierda. En horizontal iremos hacia los dos afluentes de cabecera, aquí veremos un gran bloque característico. Tenemos la opción de rapelar desde una sabina o rodear el afluente izquierdo para bajar por el bosque al cauce

We will leave by the track to the south, towards the cut on the Montsant. At the top of the ridge, through the crop field we will continue south until we leave the almond field and find a path that goes south to go down to an esplanade on the Fraguerau congost. We will turn left towards the right tributary, there is no path in this area so we must be guided by a cairn and our orientation. We will look for an area with a single large pine tree that has a rope for rappelling. After the first rappel we are on a ledge with a plate to make a 6-7m rappel with pendulum to the left ledge. We will go horizontally towards the two tributaries of the headwaters, here we will see a large characteristic block. We have the option of rappelling from a juniper tree or going around the left tributary to descend through the forest to the riverbed.

Sencillos rápeles que nos llevarán a una zona de desprendimientos con destrepes y un par de rápeles más. Al salir de ella nos echaremos a la cornisa para evitar la zona vestida. Posteriormente bajaremos otra vez al cauce

Simple rappels that will take us to an area of landslides with skills and a couple of more rappels. When leaving it we will throw ourselves to the ledge to avoid the clothed zone. Later we will descend again to the riverbed.

Veremos un sendero por el lado derecho que luego cambia para remontar unos metros el Montsant hasta la zona por la que cruzarlo. Subiremos al GR y lo seguiremos. Pasaremos por el puente colgante e iniciaremos la subida que nos llevará hacia la carretera.

We will see a path on the right side that then changes to go a few meters up the Montsant to the area where we cross it. We will go up to the GR and follow it. We will cross the suspension bridge and start the climb that will take us to the road.
