Similar to the Cavorques, it is a canyon with two parts, the first one more rugged and the second one more vertical. Unless they have reinstalled the gully it was a bit precarious, with the first part in natural and the second part with quite old/austere but functional facilities.

Acceso Circ Sallent Tenemos dos posibles accesos: Por la C17 hasta Sant Quirze de Besora y luego a Vidrà por la BV5227. O desde Olot por la C152 a Presses y giramos por la GIV5226 a Sant Privat d'en Bas La combinación de coches realmente es muy larga e ir luego a buscarlo también nos lleva mucho tiempo siendo la mejor opción llevar un solo coche aunque haya que andar bastante Acceso Circ Sallent por Vidrà Desde Vidrà seguiremos por la carretera a Ciuret, lo pasaremos y casi llegando al Coll de Ciuret la carretera gira a la izquierda en una fuerte curva con una pista que sale de frente, la cogeremos hacia “el Sallent” y “Pla Traver”. Una vez en el collado vamos por la pista de la derecha hacia Pla Traver o por una pista en peor estado a “El Sallent”. Acceso Circ Sallent por Sant Privat Desde Sant Privat seguiremos los carteles al Salt del Sallent hasta el Pla d'en Xurri

Access Circ Sallent We have two possible accesses: By the C17 to Sant Quirze de Besora and then to Vidrà by the BV5227. Or from Olot by the C152 to Presses and turn on the GIV5226 to Sant Privat d'en Bas. The combination of cars is really very long and then go to look for it also takes us a long time being the best option to take a single car even if you have to walk a lot. Access Circ Sallent by Vidrà From Vidrà we will follow the road to Ciuret, we will pass it and almost reaching the Coll de Ciuret the road turns left in a sharp bend with a track that goes straight ahead, we will take it towards "el Sallent" and "Pla Traver". Once in the pass we take the track on the right towards Pla Traver or a track in worse condition to "El Sallent". Access Circ Sallent by Sant Privat From Sant Privat follow the signs to Salt del Sallent to Pla d'en Xurri.

Aproximación barrancos Hortals, PlaTraver, Cavorques Sup e Inf, Sallent y Ginebrar Desde “El Sallent” podremos ir por la pista del circo a la cabecera del Salt del Sallent y seguidamente a la parte inferior de Ginebrar. También podemos subir hasta Pla Traver y coger la pista que va por la parte superior del circo y tras pasar el de Hortals y Cavorques llegamos a su parte superior. Desde el Pla d'en Xurri seguiremos hacia el mirador del Salt y cogeremos el sendero que sale a la derecha y sube por les Escales hacia El Sallent

Approach to Hortals, PlaTraver, Cavorques Sup and Inf, Sallent and Ginebrar ravines. From "El Sallent" we can go along the track of the cirque to the head of Salt del Sallent and then to the lower part of Ginebrar. We can also go up to Pla Traver and take the track that goes along the top of the cirque and after passing the Hortals and Cavorques we reach the top. From Pla d'en Xurri we will continue towards the viewpoint of Salt and take the path that goes to the right and goes up Escales towards El Sallent.

Una primera parte más abierta, con rápeles al natural muy arramplados. Tras pasar por la pista llegamos a la parte del circo que es más vertical sin serlo tanto como Salt o Cavorques.

The first part is more open, with very steep natural rappels. After passing through the track we reach the part of the cirque that is more vertical without being as vertical as Salt or Cavorques.

En función de donde tengamos el coche bajaremos al Pla d'en Xurri por la senda o giraremos a la izquierda para subir por les Escales a El Sallent

Depending on where we have the car we will go down to Pla d'en Xurri through the path or we will turn left to go up through les Escales to El Sallent.
