Situándonos en Ainsa (N260), cogeremos la A138 dirección Francia por el túnel de Bielsa. A los pocos kilómetros pasaremos por Labuerda y en el pk57 llegamos a Escalona. Seguiremos dirección Francia pasando por Lafortunada hasta el desvío al valle de Chistau/Gistaín (A2609). Seguiremos por la carretera dirección Plan/Gistaín hasta llegar a San Juan de Plan, lo pasaremos y en la primera curva cerrada a izquierda sale una pista de frente. Esta pista nos lleva a Biados (panel del Parque Posets-Maladeta). Subiremos por la pista unos 10kms hasta llegar a Es Plans, donde hay un campamento y el camping a la izquierda, lo pasamos, hacemos curva a la izquierda y en la siguiente de derechas sale una pista de frente que sube al refugio de Tabernés. Esta pista no siempre está en buenas condiciones para los coches. Si podemos iremos por ella hasta el refugio libre (buen sitio para hacer pernocta)

We are located in Ainsa (N260), we will take the A138 towards France through the Bielsa tunnel. After a few kilometers we will pass through Labuerda and at pk57 we arrive at Escalona. We will continue towards France passing through Lafortunada until the detour to the valley of Chistau/Gistaín (A2609). We will follow the road towards Plan/Gistaín until we reach San Juan de Plan, we will pass it and at the first sharp bend to the left there is a track straight ahead. This track takes us to Biados (Posets-Maladeta Park panel). We will go up the track for about 10kms until we reach Es Plans, where there is a campsite and the campsite on the left, we pass it, we make a left turn and in the next right turn there is a track that goes up to the Tabernés refuge. This track is not always in good condition for cars. If we can we will go along it to the free refuge (good place to spend the night).

Desde el refugio por el sendero que baja al río Cinqueta. Seguiremos ese sendero Pr HU114 hasta el pluviómetro (final del barranco). Aquí podremos ir por cualquiera de las dos orillas hasta casi el plan de Culfreda. A la altura del barranco de Culfreda entramos al cauce

From the refuge by the path that goes down to the Cinqueta river. We will follow this path Pr HU114 to the pluviometer (end of the ravine). Here we can go on either side until almost the plan of Culfreda. At the height of the ravine of Culfreda we enter the riverbed.

Precioso descenso, quizás algo corto para tan largo camino, con instalaciones precarias debido a las condiciones del descenso. Precaución con el paso del gato en caso de caudales elevados.

Beautiful descent, perhaps a little short for such a long way, with precarious facilities due to the conditions of the descent. Caution with the passage of the cat in case of high flows.
