Por la N230 entre Pont de Suert y Vielha. A la altura del pk 145, empezando el embalse de Baserca, justo a la salida del túnel, pasamos el puente sobre el río y a la izquierda tenemos la pista de acceso y sitio para aparcar.
On the N230 between Pont de Suert and Vielha. At the height of pk 145, starting the Baserca reservoir, just at the exit of the tunnel, we pass the bridge over the river and on the left we have the access road and parking place.
Approach (1 h): ➜
Por esa pista empezamos a subir para coger el sendero del estany de Riueño. Haremos la zona de subida dura, los zigzag para llegar a una zona en la que el sendero se acerca al cauce y pierde desnivel el sendero de acceso, continuamos un poco y entramos al cauce. Si llegamos a un pequeño torrente (en verano va seco) nos habremos pasado.
On this track we start to climb to take the path of Riueño lake. We will make the hard uphill area, the zigzags to reach an area where the path approaches the riverbed and loses slope the access path, we continue a little and enter the riverbed. If we reach a small stream (in summer it is dry) we will have passed.

Tras el último rápel iremos atentos a la derecha orográfica pues veremos un sendero que nos llevará al puente de la carretera.
After the last rappel we will pay attention to the orographic right because we will see a path that will take us to the road bridge.
