Von Nizza dem Var entlang aufwärts. In Puget-Theniers rechts abbiegen und auf der D 16 nordwärts Richtung Le Croix sur Roudoule fahren. Die Abzweigung nach Puget-Rostang rechts liegen lassen und weiter hinauf, bis die Straße deutlich übers Bachniveau ansteigt und eine alte Steinbrücke neben/unter einer neuen Hängebrücke auftaucht. Auf der orograf. linken Schluchtseite weiter fahren und über die Abzweigung nach La Croix sur Roudoule hinaus bis zum Wegweiser mit der dem Markierungspunkt "233". Hier Auto abstellen.

From Nice up along the Var. At Puget-Theniers, turn right and head north on the D16 towards Le Croix sur Roudoule. Leave the turnoff to Puget-Rostang on the right and continue up until the road rises well above stream level and an old stone bridge appears next to/under a new suspension bridge. Continue on the orographic left side of the gorge and past the turnoff to La Croix sur Roudoule to the signpost with the "233" marker. Park the car here.

Auf der Brücke über die Roudoule und den GR 510 aufwärts in Richtung Ortschaft Amarines. An der 15. Serpentine (nach links) in gut 800 m ü.NN den Pfad nach rechts nehmend - dürftige rote Markierungen - erreichen wir in 830 m ü.NN den Bach.

On the bridge over the Roudoule and the GR 510 up towards the village of Amarines. At the 15th switchback (to the left) at a good 800 m above sea level, taking the path to the right - scanty red markings - we reach the stream at 830 m above sea level.

Die 6 Abseiler machen Sinn als Einlaufübung für eine unmittelbar anschließende Begehung des Roudoule II.

The 6 rappels make sense as a run-in exercise for an immediately subsequent ascent of Roudoule II.

An der Mündung in die Roudoule über die Brücke zum Auto - sofern man die Tour nicht durch den Roudoule II - Canyon fortsetzt (was die Regel sein dürfte).

At the confluence with the Roudoule, cross the bridge to the car - unless you continue the tour through Roudoule II - Canyon (which should be the rule).
