Debemos llegar has Canillas del Aceituno. Desde la A45 en Casabermeja cogemos la A356. O por la A7 igualmente A356 Vélez-Málaga. Por ambos lados debemos llegar hasta el pk39 y desviarnos a Canillas de Aceituno. Al llegar al pueblo en la rotonda cogemos un carreterín a la izquierda en dirección “Cueva de la Fájara” al llegar al río buscamos donde dejar el coche de retorno. Remontamos la carretera y tomamos la calle que sale desde el pueblo hasta el Campo de Fútbol, donde empieza el sendero que sube hasta la Maroma, aquí dejamos el otro coche.

We must get to Canillas del Aceituno. From the A45 in Casabermeja take the A356. Or by the A7 also A356 Velez-Malaga. On both sides we must get to pk39 and turn off to Canillas de Aceituno. Arriving at the village at the traffic circle we take a small road to the left towards "Cueva de la Fájara" when we reach the river we look for where to leave the car back. We go up the road and take the street that goes from the village to the soccer field, where the path that goes up to the Maroma begins, here we leave the other car.

Seguimos el sendero de la Maroma, al llegar el Arroyo Rábita lo cruzamos y seguimos hacia arriba hasta llegar al arroyo las Tejas

Descenso bonito por sus peculiares rápeles, el punto negativo es que es casi imposible encontrar el barranco con agua. Al final hay unas pozas que suelen estar llenas de agua sucia

Seguimos la acequia desde la Fuente de la Fájara hacia la pista de acceso

We follow the irrigation ditch from the Fuente de la Fájara to the access road.

Es bastante amplio el descenso se puede buscar por la ladera izquierda
