Sencillo torrente a descender en época de lluvias para que lleve un buen caudal. Todos los rápeles son desde naturales, en medio de este maravilloso bosque y termina el descenso en la Riera d’Ogassa, ideal para continuar el descenso hasta la salida hacia El Negre. Aquí reseñaremos solo la parte del Canalies, para continuar con la Riera harán falta otras casi 2 horas de descenso. Son varios los compañeros que nos han indicado que comentemos que si vamos a aparcar en el Alberge El Negre que se pida permiso, se respete que es una zona de descanso y que hagamos gasto para compensar las molestias. Ya sabéis! ;)

All rappels are from natural, in the middle of this wonderful forest and ends the descent in the Riera d'Ogassa, ideal to continue the descent to the exit to El Negre. Desde Ripoll a Sant Joan de les Abadesses por al N260, en el pk 111,5 pasado el restaurante Rama, tenemos dos curvas izq-der sobre la riera y una pista a la izquierda que sube a la serra de Sant Amand. Subiremos por esta pista algo más de 6kms hasta el desvío de “el Negre” , lo cogeremos y bajaremos hasta allí para dejar el coche de retorno si vamos a hacer la Riera también. Con el coche de acceso o si solo vamos a Canalies volveremos a la pista y la seguiremos hasta la Ermita de San Martí d'Ogassa, la pasaremos y unos 100m después hay una curva de izquierdas con sitio a la derecha para aparcar.

From Ripoll to Sant Joan de les Abadesses on the N260, at pk 111.5 past the restaurant Rama, we have two left-right curves on the stream and a track on the left that climbs to the Serra de Sant Amand. We will go up this track for more than 6kms until the detour of "el Negre", we will take it and we will go down there to leave the car to return if we are going to do the Riera as well. With the access car or if we only go to Canalies we will return to the track and follow it until the Hermitage of San Martí d'Ogassa, we will pass it and about 100m later there is a left curve with place on the right to park.

Seguimos unos metros para meternos a la derecha por una senda que se dirige a las torres de la luz y que luego gira a la derecha y baja hasta los restos de una pista entre el bosque. Seguiremos esa pista unos 400m hasta el cauce de nuestro barranco

We continue a few meters to get into the right on a path that goes to the towers of light and then turns right and down to the remains of a track through the forest. We will follow this track for about 400m to the bed of our ravine.

Al llegar a la Riera, si no queremos seguir hasta el Negre, lo remontaremos unos metros hasta la salida del Clot de Mingo por donde subiremos
